In August of 2014 I signed a contract to get solar power installed on my roof. I chose a brand (Kyocera) and agreed to a 1.99% loan to get them installed. It was easy. Later they changed my panels without my consent and told me that I have to terminate the loan and redo it because the Kyocera was not available. They told me they had another Kyocera that put out less wattage, but they can add a panel to make up for it and keep the terms of the loan intact. I agreed. They then came back to me and told me that I had to use another brand that I did not want. They installed the unknown brand without my concent. The bank handling my loan also lost all my paperwork about 3 times, so I had to resign multiple times. The last time I had to resign the interest rate was 16.99% far from the 1.99% they promised with the Kyocera brand. I was exhausted from all the back and forth and from getting upset, so I told them to just install the panels. They installed the panels without filing the paperwork with the electric company. My electricity bill is higher with the panels this period than my bill was the last period when I did not have the panels. I called Edison and they told me that there is no record of me having solar panels. I am without panels and these people no longer return my calls. I am very upset, and I will file a lawsuit.
