Dr. Stenberg is NOT a doctor, Ernesto Gallegos is a CAR SALES MAN, Debbie Malone is an un licensed nurse!! Virgil Stenberg has been scamming elderly people out of over $7,000 for a program that a primary care physican can do!!!!! He used to be a science professor in N.D. and now has a "non-profit organization" thats a complete lie and SCAM! I just quit my job there after finding out that he's lying to people across the entire US and all thats to this program is a blood test for a food allergy test, take down pain scores, and prescribe Prednisone or Hydrocortisol (what your body already makes!) it doesn't even help with Parkinsons, Fibromyalgia, RA, over 26 diseases so he says it helps. But ive worked there a year and its one big scam. I might be young, but not stupid. I was "self contracted" into the clinic and now that tax season has came around im screwed, and I was being paid under the table!! He's a million air thats been scamming the entire US! Please everyone see your DOCTOR!!! Your MD, or Neurologist, or Rheumatologist!! This is not the way to go, you can even get CUSHING SYNDROME for taking too much prednisone!! These people aren't there to help you, just to help take you money!!! He only does it to elerly people with money, he seeks out RICH old people, ive seen it and heard it!!! Thats why I even quit, and now wont ever see my last paycheck so now im trying to spread the word and I want all of the "patients" who really arent, they're just people donating $7,000 to make him even more richer than he is! And he splits half the money with Ernesto Gallegos that's a car sales man than sells the "program" to elderly people sick/dying/too much pain to care!!! There's so much I can tell on this site from what ive seen, heard in the last year what Virgil Stenberg has been doing to people to get their money...for G sake hes not a DOCTOR!!
Is there anyone out there that can help me to get my money back. I haven't been to Apache Junction or Jacksonville, Florida yet
but as you know, the contract that I signed commits me to program. However, according to the contract, I can opt out of the program before the 1st office visit and receive all of my money. But if this really is a scam, I probably will not get my money back without filing a lawsuit. Even then, I don't stand much of a chance in seeing that money again.
Helens Foundation & Dr. Virgil Stenberg are Money Scammers
Hello, I wish to convey to you my experiences with Microdose Therapy from Dr. Virgil Stenberg at the Helens Foundation. They claim to reduce pain for Arthritis, CFS, MS, RA, OA, Fibromyalgia, back pain, migraines and even Parkinson’s by using Hydrocortisone (Cortisol) tablets. You name the illness…they claim to “reduce it or eliminate it.” I bit the hook of the promises to “arrest Fibromyalgia in 21 days” with a program where “patients averaged 77% relief.” Yes, I am a fool but desperate people in much pain tend to do desperate & foolish things. The people at the Foundation wanted their money and a signed contract up front before determining if I was even qualified or able to safely take the Hydro-cortisone! Even if you are Medically Disqualified from entering the program by a local doctor due to a condition you will only get back a small portion of the $7495 you paid to enroll in the program.
During my 3 week $3,400.00 “Shower” loading dose of 100 mgs of Hydrocortisone (Cortisol), I experienced adverse reactions such as swelling and unbearable pain of the face, jaw, neck and armpits, a sore throat & minor chest pain. I was told Hydrocortisone was a more “natural” drug similar to the body’s own Cortisol but my body could not tolerate it and the side effects were unbearable even when I tapered the dosage down.
I am still kicking myself in the @#% for being such a fool for entering this program and paying all that money. I thought they would have a Helens Foundation Pain Management Clinic nearby where I could learn more about pain management. Instead I was sent to a regular neighborhood GP doctor who had many patients coming in and out of his office. I walked in. He wrote a prescription. There is NO “EDUCATION” TO PATIENTS in a classroom or a clinic. Their “Patient Education Manuals” are just stapled papers and really don’t have any useful information. All they care about are the diary numbers you have to record and phone/FAX/email in. They do not care how you feel while you are taking the medication or how you are reacting to it. They forward the scores to Dr. Stenberg and he would put them in his graphing computer program which would generate color graphs like the graphs you played with in grammar school only this one costs you $995. He calls it a "digital tracking system" but it is nothing but colored graphs. What is another kicker is that the food allergy testing they charged me $900 is from Spectrum labs which tests dogs, cats, horses for pet owners & vets.
In essence, it was a very expensive lesson for me to which the program cost me out of pocket $5545.00 out of $7495.00. Dr. Stenberg is taking advantage of the temporary high from the steroid medication which eventually wears off several months later and that is how long his program is. If you want to try cortisol/hydrocortisone for your condition ask your doctor. It is really no different that prednisone. You do not, not, not need to spend $7500.00.
The foundation rambles on about “improvements” and “1,938 patients and two university studies” but it is a bunch of baloney. As far as I see, THERE ARE 1,938 PATIENTS WHO HAVE BEEN TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF BY A PREDATOR! All the Foundation cares about is the money not your condition! THERE IS NO MONEY BACK GUARANTEE! I also understand that Dr. Michael Jon Kell MEDICAL LICENSE was REVOKED and that he was convicted in Georgia of one count of felony Conspiracy to Defraud the State, one count of FELONY MEDICAID FRAUD, one count of felony False Writings, and three counts of felony Tax Evasion. Dr. Michael Jon Kell endorses Dr. Stenberg’s program on the Foundation’s website! So beware! BIRDS OF A FEATHER FLOCK TOGETHER!
There have been customer complaints and customer reviews listed on the BBB website which have been removed. I saw a COMPLAINT on the BBB from another person and it HAS BEEN REMOVED!. THIS IS JUST A BUSINESS TO MAKE MONEY OFF PEOPLE WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM CHRONIC ILLNESSES AND IN A LOT OF PAIN! I am sure there are a number of people who had similar issues with the Helens Foundation but were too sick and disgusted to write a complaint. I WAS SO SICKENED & DISGUSTED WITH MY EXPERIENCE OF THE HELENS FOUNDATION! So beware. Dr. Stenberg is holding a lot of seminars targeting suffers of Parkinson, Multiple Sclerosis in addition to Arthritis & Fibro especially in Arizona. The do not give medical advice because no one in their office is a registered nurse nor is there a true Medical Doctor who is qualified to care for patients.
Now about the A-rating by the BBB. My BBB complaint was NOT "resolved." The BBB really does nothing in regards to a complaint. You send in a complaint. They forward the complaint to the company/doctor. You get a response back & the case is closed! Nothing was "resolved." I did get a response back from Dr. Stenberg via the BBB but it was useless rambling about medication dosing. Dr. Stenberg is not, not, not concerned about your health! It took a lot of energy and time to post my experiences in hope of warning others so they don't get taken advantage of as I was. I also wrote a customer review on the BBB site for the Helens Foundation. It was posted. I saw it & read it. THAT BBB CUSTOMER REVIEW ON THE HELENS FOUNDATION HAS BEEN REMOVED! In fact, there are no reviews listed. That seems rather odd for a business which has been around for many years. Yet, I am reading all sorts of complaints on other sites. I know there was another BBB complaint listed on the BBB website before I filed my complaint. It may have been from a Parkinson's patient of Dr. Stenberg. It too has been REMOVED FROM THE BBB WEBSITE! So do not believe what you read on the BBB website. I know for a fact that customer information about the Helens Foundation HAS BEEN REMOVED! A "A-rating" from the BBB essentially means NOTHING! Please listen to your docs. I wish I did. They warned me that this is a predator taking advantage of people who are sick, diseased and in pain! Take care!
Thanks, you just saved me $7500.00. I was somewhat suspicious when I talked to Ernesto and contacted my neurologist to get his feedback. He emphatically told me that it was a ripoff and to stay away from it.

“Microdose therapy changed my life and it breaks my heart whenever I read things like these reports. I am sure that there were people that didn't get the results they wanted. It happens. That is why there is only an 80% success rate and not 100% success rate. I read about the ex-employee that wrote everything under the sun about Helen Foundation and Dr. Stenberg, however what I found when I looked into it myself that you had an angry child that tried to embezzle from the company. You can find the criminal record here. https://apps.supremecourt.az.gov/publicaccess/caselookup.aspx
So when reading things that have nothing to do with the company or it's program you have to remember that out of thousands of people helped there are exactly 5 complaints. Then there are two complaints from an ex-employee that is now a felon because of her actions. I encourage anyone reading this to look into the program yourself. Talk with your physician. Talk to someone who matters to your heath rather than reading a few bad reviews on the internet.”
We are $6,995.00 out of pocket. We paid 2/3 by maxing out our credit cards, and the 1/3 from our life savings to treat my husband's Parkinson's Disease. The first two treatments had been done and my husband complained that he didn't feel right and that the treatments had not helped in any way whatsoever. We realise it was early in the treatment so we continued for the 3rd treatment only to find that after the usual drive of 328 miles round trip, the usual doctor had quit the job with no warning whatsoever. We notified Ernesto Gallegos and the nurse Debbie about the incident and after a long wait, they called back to say that they will make adjustments. Nothing has happened and they have not called us back since then, and it's now over a month. I did not ask for a refund then, but I asked last week and this week for Ernesto Gallegos to reply to my emails or to call me back. I have asked three times now and there hasn't been any response at all. I am willing to pay the first two treatments but want a refund of the balance so we can return them to the credit card companies. We are reasonable people and we want an amicable settlement.

Microdose Therapytm is now the United States FDA-recommended procedure for cortisol use together with stress, infection and allergy minimization. It averages 77% control of fibromyalgia symptoms; 78% osteoarthritis; 78% rheumatoid arthritis; 78% polymyalgia rheumatica; 62% Parkinson’s disease; and 67% multiple sclerosis. These results are 2 to 3 times superior to more standard treatment effectiveness. The nationwide physician network administering the prescription-based Microdose Therapytm has reported no significant side effects. The Microdose Therapytm contract includes a money-back guarantee.
