I really want this to be a warning to all other single women out there who have a busy career and because of their job situations find it difficult to meet men of a certain caliber and decide to go with a dating service! I am a professional woman with a travelling job which makes it very difficult for me to meet people socially in Kansas City where I live, so I found an ad in the newspaper for Heart to Heart and decided to go and see them. I should have known that they were up to no good at the first interview since their office is very seedy and they have really old albums with pictures of unavailable men. However, they managed to talk me into giving them $1,500 in exchange for at least 6 solid dates possibly more within a year.
The first guy they sent me was nothing like what I asked for. I started wondering why I spent 1 1/2 hrs talking to Lyndon during my interview. Worst thing is that they do not contact you unless you contact them and tell them how your last date went. First of all, they are hardly available during business hours and you always get a voicemail. Secondly, after the 2nd really bad "referral" they sent me, I insisted on talking to them. And Mr L decided to make me feel like my tastein men was impossible to get because I was tall!!! Can you imagine making a customer feel that way when he supposedly recorded everything I wanted at my first meeting .... But then they did not hVe my money yet, so I guess he could not tell me that. After they sent me the 3 rd maladroit , I decided to ask the guys how much they paid the service. It turns out that they do not charge the men half as much as the women or get them a free pass if they would go on dates because the fact of the matter is that they have way more professional women and no men.... So they call around and get any riffraff off the streets to send on dates.
To make it worse, I kept getting solicitation calls from the wife who did not realize that I was a member and kept leaving voicemails for me like " are u single? get off your couch etc". This led me to believe that they do not have a pool and continue taking money from unsuspecting women. I gave up after my 4 th riffraff and decided to let it be and have not heard from them in quite a few months now!!! However I do not feel that I should lose all that hard earned money for nothing. I have not even had a date who was decent enough to make a 2nd date and one of the guys agreed with me that this service is a major scam. I want them out of business as i feel like they are predators and liars. I get angry every time I think about how they scammed me, especially after reading about other people having the same experience.
