I trid to order their product online november/december 2014 the website dec
Ined my credit card today 2-3-2015 i was billed 43.45 for a purchase i did not order i called 888-656-8893a man answerd told me that the order had been sent out couldnt refund id have to wait for product and return it ,i ask for a supervisor...Jenica ...informed me that i recived the product in november and just now getting billed for it all she could refund was a sale price of a differance of 17.00 I could never get a stright answer i did explain that I never recived a courtsy call or letter that I owed any thing and never recived the product
I ordered the 14 day trial of Garcinia Wow! from Healthy New Beginnings and when I recieved my product 4 days later I was reading the label and noticed what appeared to be black letters showing through a portion of the white area on the label. Thinking it was one of those peel up labels with instructions underneath I peeled back the label to reveal a second label with a different product name (Pure Garcinia Cambotia), different company phone number (which was disconnected), and a different "other ingredients" list. The top label listed only Gelatin as the other ingredient howeer the label underneath says: Gelatin, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Magnesium Stearate, Silicon Dioxide.
I can't say if the product works or not, I wasn't brave enough to try it after seeing the double lables. I do work with a lady who used Garcinia to help her lose 100lbs so there might be some truth to it but I definitely would not get it from this company.Today when I called to cancel my order I told the gentleman on the line that I wanted to cancel because the product had 2 different labels with different ingredients he didn't even react! He just went into his speal about how I had several days left in my trial blah blah blah. I refused and he stated my trial has been canceled and I will not need to return the product and there will be no further charges on my credit card. I will watch the bill closely to be sure I am not charged for anything.
After watching Dr. Oz talk about this product I went online and looked it up. After reviewing their information I requested more information and received a call on 10 September. After talking to the Sales Rep I agreed to the 14 day "free" trial and paid $4.95 for shipping. Auto-renewal was not discussed during this conversation and I did not go to the website and agree to it by checking a box. Two weeks pass and no product shows up and on the 14th day (24 September) I notice a pending charge on my CC statement so I called them. They claimed that I "checked a box" agreeing to the auto-renewal which I didn't because it took place over the phone. I explained that I had not received the product to begin the 14 day trial and they said that was not their concern, that the 14 day trial started the day I agreed to the trial. So I agreed to a 14 day trial and then didn't get to use the product for the 14 days and they charge my card $79.95? Really? So they refuse to refund my money for the trial which as of today, 9 October I still haven't received and refuse to refund my money for the auto-renewal that I never agreed to. I called again yesterday, 8 October and explained that I still had not received the 14 day trial and the agent informed me that there was a mistake and she sees that the trial product was never shipped to me but she'll take care of that and put the order in for me now. I told her NOT to ship it, to just refund my money and she refused, repeating word-for-word what the earlier Customer Service Agent said, that I had "checked a box" agreeing to the terms and conditions. This has to be one of the biggest internet scams I haver personally seen even if it is for relatively small amounts of money. Why they continue to get away with this is mind boggling.
