Internet offer of free trial of Revitol Anti Aging treatment is actually signing up for a subscription to this every two weeks at a cost of $75.94. Upon discovering this, when trying to cancel, company then balks and charges a restocking fee of $10 plus shipping - offering a refund of $59.99 if merchandise received in good unused condition. None of this explained in offer of free trial. When presurring company they indicated the automatic shipment and restocking fee was listed in terms of service.
I ordered a one time product on line from the company.... after not receiving the free shipping/handaling ( as I was lead to believe that I was) I was charged express shipping/handaling. Next thing I know I was getting another package in the mail... in which made me wonder what was going on. After not being able to find the name of the company and phone number I was able to contact someone. I was told that I "agreed to the terms and conditions" (which I had not) that I am not entiled to a refund. The first customer service rep hung-up on me. I called back. I was chargered a restock fee because I choose to return an item I did not order or want. The two items were 5 times the amount of the orginal order. I can not afford that . This is fraud in the worst form. You trust these companies to do the right thing and as soon as you give them "an inch" they rob you blind! What if I was depending on that money they stole to keep a roof over my children head. We would be out on the street!
