A company named Haul Masters based in Atlanta quoted me for a job of removing 1 room worth of household junk. When I spoke with the man on the phone I asked him to come a give me a quote. He told me that he had been doing it so long that he could do it over the phone. He quoted me a range of $180.00-$225.00. I set up the appointment and they went to my parents home. The room they were cleaning out was in a basement that has a door to enter.
They did not take ANY percausion or consideration for older parents private property. They tracked a trail of mud repeatedly in and out of the house and RUINED the carpet! They parked their work truck in my yard and left very large tire marks. They charged my parents $350.00 which was way more that what I was quoted.
When I saw what they had done, I immediatly called to speak with the manager. They were closed, so I had to wait until the next business day.When I did speak with the owner of the company, he seemed to care and want to know what happen. I sent him video, photos and an email of all that happened and why I was disappointed and wanted to be compinsated for the damages.
When I spoke with the owner the next day he told he that he spoke with Richard, his employee and that everything went fine according to him. I asked him if he seen the the pictures and video, and he said he seen them and ""it was dirty, but that the carpet looked to be dirty anyway"" I told him that we never use that door, and track mud in on the carpet. He had nothing to say. When I asked him what he was willing to do to compensate for my parents property? He said there was nothing he was going to do. I told him that I would report his company to every place that I could and his reply was ""If you don't have any thing better to do, then fine"".
This company is ran by inconsiderate and unprofessional man named Chris Termena (spelling) and His employee is named Richard. They have been working together 15 years. They both seemed to feel that this treatment was ok for a paying consumer. They are a team of people who don't about customer service or their reputation as a business.
