I PURCHASED a third row suv to hold all my children safely. i am 7 months pregant and got taken advantage of. i gave him 5080.00 and have Not drove the car more than 60 miles and have to have the transmission rebuilt. i have had this vehicle less than 48 hours and have already put a new water pump and rear brakes on it, it still needs a starter as well. i called him today hoping he would make things right with me but the only thing he said is pretty much its sold as is but he could refer me to a shop to get a discount. NOT ONE TIME DID HE OFFER TO HELP ME PAY FOR THE REBUILD. i am in shock that this crook sold me a lemon and cant even make it right with me on it. I took it to two shops and the one shop told me that these problems had to be ""ongoing"" and he believes there was probably something added to the transmission to stop it from slipping so someone could buy it. SHAME ON THIS OWNER FOR DOING THIS TO ME! i also found out he owned Harrison Auto sales on stringtown road in which that business no longer exists. i believe he reopened the one on south high street under a different tax number BUT THE SAME NAME. it seems shadey to me! i do understand you take a risk buying as is but i dont understand why im having all these issues less than 48 hours after purchase and bill harrison not even making an attempt to make things right with me?
