I have seen many reports on here all about this type of company, most of them dating back to the Mid - 2000's. Some of their schemes have changed a bit, but mostly they are all still the same. After reading the reports based on the company they all sound very familar to what happened to me. To start off with, I've done some research and the company located in Michigan moves around constantly. I was looking for a job and found an ad on Craigslist advertising $20/hr!!!....with absolutely no description about the job and a phone number to call to apply (586 - 477-2500).
So me being a gullible young adult called the number and was offered an interview for 12 p.m the next day. When I arrived at the interview I noticed several other people dressed up for an interview too. When I walked inside I was directed torwards a shady looking conference room with chairs, a radio blasting music, and a white board. a man named Mr. Ingledue then walked in and esxplained about the job saying that it wasn't a sales job, and that all you had to do was go to homes who had ordered a filtration system, install it, and answer any questions about it. But then he explained how the pay would work and that if the home bought the system you'd get $100 bonus to your pay, but...YOUR NOT A SALES PERSON. BULLS***.
After the presentation we were told to call later on to see if we were hired. I ended up calling, was hired and was extremely excited to start training the next day. But, when my dad asked me what the company name was, I realized....I had no idea about the company at all or what the name even was. So after doing some research by looking up the address, I found several different company names, and about 30 reports all on this company each explaining how it is a scam, and how you wont get payed at all. When I read the reports I noticed how similar there interview processes were to mine! you see, the jist of of it is, is that the company requires you to do presentations at 15 homes. What they don't tell you at the interview is that if you do not go to at least 15 homes you won't get payed.
They hire multiple employee's to all do the same job so that theres too many people hired to even get 15 presentations, so they end up giving you just shy of 15 and by the time you get your paycheck you didnt earn a single dime. I also read that they even try to get you to sell to your family and friends. I'm not gonna go into too much detail about the scams that company does, you can read the other reports about them on here. But the main thing I want to do is to get the word out there that this company scams you. They hire you, have you sell for them for 2 weeks, and when you don't get payed you quit. Once that group of employee's quits, they move locations and hire a new group to do the same thing again. So without further adeui....
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A JOB, OR ARE HIRED BY A COMPANY LOCATED IN SHELBY MICHIGAN THAT SELLS FILTRATION SYSTEMS, OR IF YOU HAVE THE SAME EXPERIENCE AS ME. DO NOT WORK FOR THEM, ITS A TRICK AND A WASTE OF TIME. PLEASE READ THE OTHER REPORTS AS THEY WARNED ME, AND SAVED ME FROM MAKING A BIG MISTAKE.
