By accepting your client contract agreement with greengeeks.com and greenresellerwebhosting.com you agree not to abuse whether verbally or physically or whether in person, via email, live chat or telephone or otherwise A) any other customer of greengeeks.com and greenresellerwebhosting.com and any employee or contractor of greengeeks.com and greenresellerwebhosting.com.
Real creeps. They are about as green as my curdling blood!
I was working with a web designer to create a web page and we had agreed on a price. I then decided to look for web hosting services with GreenGeeks. I filled out the web hosting order form, which included both set up fee and domain registration. My service was going to cost me ($133.00) A few days later I receive a call from my web designer who tells me that the web page project will cost a good deal more than agreed on, so I cancel this project. Now, that I do not have a web page, I do not need web hosting services. I fill out the cancellation form and submit it. I am aware of the 30 day money back guarantee. I receive a email telling me that my cancellation form has been received and is being processed. About a week later I receive a email telling me that I am getting a refund of ($104.00) I wonder what happened to my other ($29.00) They never respond to me until I file a complain with the BBB. Then I receive a reply telling me that they kept ($15.00) for set up fee and ($13.95) for domain registration. So much for having it included. I ask that my domain be taken down from the internet. No reply. I find that enom.com is the registrar. Then I find out that GreenGeeks is a reseller of my domain. I realize that these where uncharted waters I was going into, but I did not know there were so many unethical sharks in this body of water. GreenGeeks would like us to believe that they are earth friendly and such, but I can assure you the only way they are staying green is by taking our money.
I've had Green Geek hosting for a few years and every single time I update my website I cannot publish or view and have to call for support . Their support initially was not very helpful and always blamed the Iweb program in which I created my website. I decided to publish same with Go Daddy and problems rarely occured. I ran both for the last 3 years or so and lately the GreenGeeks had more hiccups trying to update and visit site. in December and today-( 6 months later) I was notified my website was hacked and sent spam . It was frozen by GG and had to be restarted back in January. It caused more loading issues. Today ,after the second hacking, I decided to end GreenGeek's services. They blamed the code or programs and would not offer repair on their side. I paid for two years of service in july 13 so I asked for a year worth of refund. I did not get it. Supposedly they have some clause about a 30 day refund! what is the use of paying so much in advance and getting only 30 days warranty?
I am very dissatisfied with their service and thought people should be aware before they make a webhosting choice.

Fraud
I have reported this company to the FBI as they are defrauding customers every day. They are also being investigated by PayPal.
