I am a former employee of Greenball Corp., I worked in the Lakeland, Fl warehouse. This company is bad; they have no problem sending out tire(s) they know are bad. I was told on multiple occasions to go ahead and ship a tire(s) that we knew had problems; "Only worry if they send them back" is what I was told. Today was the end of the line. My boss, warehouse manager Gary Orme, told me to ship tires to Sam's Club that have a bad PSI rating on one of the sidewalls. I confronted him about the issue, stating I was not comfortable in shipping the tires; he then told me if I didn’t want to do it, he would. I was still not ok knowing that we were shipping these tires out to the public. I asked him again if he was sure about shipping these, he said yes; he talked to his boss (Vern) and he approved it. Still questioning this I asked for Vern's phone number to call him myself. But instead of Gary Orme giving me Verns number, he went into the office to call Vern himself.Come to find out, Gary Orme lied to me; he did not call Vern and get it approved. To make things worse, when we called Vern he said, "No don’t send them...... well go ahead it’s not that many.... who are they going to? Sams? No don’t......... well go ahead and if they come back they comeback. Im not working for or supporting any employer that thinks this way.
I will also say that every bad thing you read about Greenball Corp. is true to the tee. I've read all the bad things that people say while sitting at work and thought to myself, YUP! That’s Greenball!
I have contacted Sam's Club to let them know. This company cannot afford to lose Sam's Club after losing Discount Tire. Greenball is a shady company ran by Veitiemese family that cuts corners where ever and whenever they can. Do not give them your money. I have also contacted Osha to report the unsafe working conditions at the Lakeland, Fl warehouse.
