Yesterday, I was pulling into my driveway with my sleeping kids. As I did, I noticed two women standing in my yard, as if they were waiting for me. I later learned that indeed they *were* waiting for someone to come home. Since my kids were both asleep, it was going to be hard for me to quickly get into my home, so as I was getting out, I asked if there was something I could help them with? The pregnant one replied, "we're just getting some shade, mama!" Thinking this was unusual, but plausible given the extreme heat, I nodded and started getting my kids out. They both approached me and said they were selling a product that would clean everything, and they meant EVERYTHING. Quickly pregnant lady began spraying the product onto my concrete, to show me just how well it did its job. She then sprayed it on my back window, to show me another wonderful feature.
I'm not normally such a pushover, but my mind was going a million miles a minute, it was hot, I wanted to just go in my house and sit down to relax. She kept saying, "be a sport, buy a quart!" and told me how many of my neighbors had bought it, and she pointed to my neighbor two doors down as an example. So I agreed to buy the product. I should have known something was up when she had to call in my information, and then the dispatcher told me that the cost was actually more $, since they added a "processing fee" to the transaction. I really should have stopped it right then and there, but this lady had just grabbed my youngest son and was holding him, so I wanted to get this over with and figured I would go online later to find out how to get a refund. I just wanted these crazy ladies out of here!
I tried to call, only to be sent to a voicemail that was "not yet set up." I called both the number on the reciept, as well as the toll-free number listed on their website, and got the same message twice. I talked to my neighbors, and no, they did NOT buy the product, and she said the ladies asked if they could come inside for a glass of water. She said no, but got them each one, and then the pregnant lady began begging for change, saying she was hot and pregnant, and really needed the money!

I now have to pay for a certified letter to go to these jerks saying I want to cancel my transaction. I have also filed a dispute with my credit card company, so I can try and recoop my monies. To say I am annoyed is putting it rather mildly. Don't be stupid like I am, just say no, and ask them to leave.
