I recently moved out of the condo at . When I moved out I left the condo in the same condition I received it in but this company decided they needed to keep 70% of my security deposit. I left 2 spare ac filters behind and there where charges on the list for a new ac filter. They also charged me for bulb but when I moved in only 20% of the bulbs actually worked. The previous manager was made aware and told me she would reimburse me for any bulbs replaced. I replaced a few but never asked for reimbursement. I was also charged for smoke detectors when I did removed 2 of them to remove the batteries to stop the chirp when I moved in. Both smoke detectors where left on the counter. I was also charged for paint touch up but when I moved in there where nail wholes left in the walls. There was a charge on there for a bathroom remodel that I have no clue what it would be referring to. They also charged me for carpet cleaning but when I moved in the carpets where already dirty and clearly where not shampooed. I left them in the same condition I received them along with everything else in the condo. The only charge that comes close to being my responsibility are the doors and window but again I returned them in the same condition I received them in. When I moved in there where real problems with the condo that where not noticed like a gas leak from the stove and neither the washer or dryer worked along with all the toilets not working properly but they think they can nit pick to take 70% of my security deposit. I have put a retainer down for my lawyer and we plan to take legal action if my security deposit is not returned in full and we will also be looking for resolution to the deadly gas leak I and my neighbors where subjected to.
