I pulled my RV up to the diesel pump in front on Goober's Repair Shop at the Flying J Plaza (all of the other pumps were in use). Immediately a Goober employee ran over and told me that one of my tires was badly worn and noticeably bulging, and needed immediate replacement. He repeately ran his hand over the outside of the inner tire (which of course is very difficult to see) shaking his head. "If you're going any distance, that tire just isn't safe," he assure me. Of course they just happened to have a "value" replacement tire that they'd sell me, then tried to upsell, if I wanted a better option.
Hmm. Interesting, since I'd just had those same tires inspected by a Tire Factory dealer that I've used for several years, and was assured that all of my tires were in great shape.
When my wife asked a second employee of Goober's if he wasn't just trying to scam a couple of "Greenies", both of them just disappeared back into the shop.
Based on my experience with these jerks (and several other reviewers), I strongly discourage anyone from dealing with this repair shop.
