Bought what I thought was the perfect engine for my Jeep. BIG mistake. In less than 3 years the engine failed and I called Chad. Send it back to me and I will fix it for nothing he says. Just pay for shipping (almost $400) So I send it back to them. But pulling an engine for a cancer patient isn't easy and should not have been needed. Anyway he fails to mention that this does not include parts, nor does he call and give me a heads up that he was putting over $300 of new parts in my engine that was less than three years old. So my bill with shipping was almost $700. Not to mention it went to him assembled so he could test it. It came back in pieces, not tested, not assembled and crushed by who knows? When it returns and I open it I find a busted and crushed Holley Carb., Clifford intake manifold and Edelbrock air cleaner. Now I call Chad again and explain the situation to him. No worries he says just fill out the claim form and we will get it taken care of. Well the carrier denied my claim because the engine was already wrapped when they picked it up! They cannot verify that the damage was not there before pickup therfore claim denied. Call Chad back explain situation to him again. Give me a couple days and I will take care of it he says. This was on a Wednesday, so I call all afternoon friday not one person will answer the phone or return my call. I request an itemized bill from Chad several times, what parts were replaced?, was it even tested?, no response, no call, no email. So now I have a boat anchor that cost me almost $4000 not counting additional parts! Plus shipping back and forth to him TWICE, pulling the engine AGAIN, etc. Still no resolution, still no email response, itemized bill, reimbursement for damage, NOTHING! The worst experience ever and I am still screwed! DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT PURCHASE AN ENGINE FROM HIM. Find a good local machine shop and get it done right the first time.
