Yesterday I was invited to leave Oakleaf Village Apartments while walking my dogs around their huge publicly accessible loop. Something tells me it has something to do with one of my dogs being a #pitbull. I've been walking them there daily for over 2 years. We've never had an incident. I've always gone out of my way to be friendly to the residents there, even walking them there late at night so not to "frighten" anyone. Now I know what I think of the staff and the company that owns Oakleaf Villages.
Today the police just showed up at my door also asking me to not walk my dogs over there. What kind of apartment community harasses a non-resident for walking their dog there? I did not make a scene. I did not argue with the maintenence person that asked me to not walk my dog there. This is one sad and pathetic group of owners and managers. If they treat people like this who don't even live there imagine what they do with their residents? Calling the cops on someone for walking their dog...you've got to be kidding me.
I encourage any of you to give them a call and let them know your thoughts on how they treat people walking their #dogs, in this case, #pitbulls, thru their publicly accessible loop. - Their number is: (855) 641-9114 #OakleafVillageApartments****
