I am a few months behind on payments and they called the previous tenant of the house I am currently living in and old them I was telling people I owned the home. They made harrassing threats to the previous renter and in turn she contacted my landlord. My landlord now is aware that I am having a financial hardship when it was not his business; especially since I've never been late on a rent payment. They call all the time at least 10 calls a day with an automated system and people. They say they will work with you, but charge you for every payment you make to them. They 'help' you by attaching the few months your behind to your existing monthly payments so you will be paying even longer. They will not allow you to pay every other week without charging you a late fee. They obviously know where I live. Why not just pick up the vehicle and be done with it.
I have bieen a loyal customer of GM financial sine 2011, I have never been late in 4 1/2 years, then I became a victim of theft, and my payment for GM financial reached 4 days after the 30 day mark, GM caused my credit score to plumit, I spoke to account Manager in an attempt to get a one time courtesy to take off havent heard from representative Ive emailed telphoned no call back, I even had loan officwer send letter stating that due to late charge from GM financial I am unable to obtain a home mortgage. I am devasted, that GM was in sentive to the customers. My credit was good until this happened, now Im on the verge of sleeping in my car, with my children, becasue I cant get financed due to GM not willing to take off a late charge, I was told we dont do courtesy, and Im sorry for what occurred, but the reality is Ive paid my accont on time, last year I paid my account up for 6months but GMFinancial didnt take that into account, But the biggest problem is that their commerials are geard toward family WOW, and here my family and I be in the streets becasue of GM Financial.
I am writing a complaint regarding GM Financial. After paying our vehicle off, their employee assumed we refinanced our vehicle with another company (Capital One). We sent a certified check to GM Financial to pay off our car. They stated the employee assumed it was refinanced. Therefore, our title can't be released to us because they sent it to the wrong people. Now, after a month because of their ignorant employee, we are still waiting for a title for our car. They won't release the number to corporate office either. The number for the corporate office on the website is the same number to the customer service department. They refused to release the corporate office phone number.
DO NOT finance anything with this company because they are ignorant! They hired employees who assume instead of finding out facts!
