I am another victim of Rich Cocovich and his slick scam. I challenge him to come after me with his line of BS re: defamation because I have all the proof. He charged a few thousand for his slick sales pitch and told me everything I wanted to hear. Paid for his travel and expenses for in person meeting and was handed off to Convergex Carribbean and DJ Calender. More slick sales pitches, thousands more in consulting fees and then another handoff to The Signature Group. They told me I violated agreement by disclosing to Rich that DJ had passed me on to Signature. No funding and a loss of over 20K to these guys.
Come after me Rich...I dare you. I look at your Facebook page with all of your outrageous claims and it makes me want to vomit.
Scam: Rich Cocovich of Global Star Capital of Hilton Head Island, SC is a rip off. After I paid him $9995 (wire transfer) and he started his great salesmen act to set me up and to rip me off. Mr. Cocovich I was referred to at Convergex Carribbean, Ltd. in Prince Frederick, Maryland. Also, at one point basically even asked me to find people for him and told me directly they didn't even need to get funded. When I was getting upset about the process, and he acted like he was my best friend the entire time. Remember him and many others are in a great position to rip off people seeking funding because of how hard it is to get funded these days. DO NOT USE HIM NO MATTER WHAT HE SAYS HE IS GOOD!
I was a new business trying to get started and I got connected to Rich Cocovich. He is a good salesman. He gets you hook, line and sinker. This guy is nothing but full of crap. This is a multi level little scam that he has going once you pay him his $9995 fee (just for reference he stays under the $10000 law that banks have to declare the deposit). This should have been the first clue. Then he claims that he will connect you to someone that will get you the funds, but this is his partner in crime. The next step is even more expensive then the first. The company he dealt with for me was Convergex Caribbean, they are in Prince Frederick, Maryland. Then they get there fee ($25000) then he sends you to another company out of Tennesee, The Signature Group who gets a fee of $15000. I woke up after the 2nd fee. I ask people to do just one thing before gettting into these Ripoff places call the corporation commission of the state that the business is located in, if they are not registered then they are nothing but a scam. Just to let you all know none of these business are registered with there local corporation commisssion.
You trade in yours and you get up $600 dollars for the top of the sat phone free. They have scam written all over themselves + they get your iPhone. Just read a few of the feedback comments about other bad deals...on Google.
I retained Rich’s services in 2019 and have enjoyed an extremely good journey with and directed by him since then. He came to see our project on location and helped us immensely with our materials to prepare for next steps with facilitators of the funds. We received our next introductions and eventual funds as quickly as we were able to tailor our approach with Rich’s guidance. Anyone that understands private funding, family offices, or high net work individual funding grasps the need for the protocols and process that Global Star incorporates. I was skeptical at first, but after going through the steps, it has opened another realm. People who complain here likely misrepresented the preparedness or authenticity of the project they were trying to fund or eventually became unbearable to deal with by professionals because of lack of integrity or paranoia. Highly recommend!
