I went to there workshops. They go so fast cant rite stuff down. You cant ask them anything, they make fun of you. Always asking for more money. First time they want 7500 for bus to florida I say i'll take greyhound, they get mad. Money not for bus but for secret source of good deals. They show pictures of boarded up house they bought for 7000.00. Where was it? They forgot.
They say you can make money on flips. One other man also ask about flips, but they don't tell you anything -- every case different. I try to buy property from associate at back of class, to tell him to relist at higher price to give me ten thousand and he could keep rest as commisions. He said not how things work. First you buy property, pay your money, then we talk, but he has no card, wont give his number. He don't even have name, just call him W.
One other woman there, say she bought properties with these guys before with her husband and lost all there money - $750,000.00. Thats almost million dollars. Now her husband died. I say why you keep coming back - She say to give them another chance. Maybe it was just bad luck.
I even take more seminars for flipping mortgages, but all they want is more money. Pay, pay, pay.
Now they have new deal -- buy new house in Florida, so you don't have to find contractor to fix it up. They say you make 100,000.00 but probably more -- you just have to ask for it and its yours. All house prices going up. You buy land from them for 100,000, hire them to build house for 200,000, and sell it for 525,000 to 575,000, even 600,000. I ask them why it has to be only one floor, not 2 storey, for cheaper floor area, and they say Paul already do design perfect, just do what they tell you. First they say lot is 50,000, then 100,000 because things are going up faster, but I do online search to find Florida canal lots start at $2,500.00 - not 100,000. And 600,000 total - no pool, no 2 floors, no deal. Nothing on line for over 250,000 - 300,000.00. They try to rip me off for 300,000. They said we could create mortgage, and I could resell mortgage for cash to someone else. They tell you it so easy to make money, but pretty ovious they think we're all stupid. To make money, all you have to do is create mortgage to sell paper to make money - just temporarily lend money to yourself that you don't have - That's why I come to this stupid class.
If you want to take there course, find someone in audience who also wants to go, pretend your a couple, and get in 2 for 1.
stay away from purdy. was banned from entering the us for 3 years great storyteller. was fired in the 2000s lost most of his holdings like most americans. just a good speaker nothing more. clients had lost 7 million while teaching at Enlightened Millionaire Institute (EMI) most of his "top students" today had tons of money to begin with you dont need to spend thousands on trips or buy overpriced real estate that's on the mls. ask any of the so called people he claims are evil and bad about glenn and they will all tell you the same facts and information. ask russ whitney and his former bosses what really happened between 2000 and 2007 if he was the saint he claims he is.
ask him who controls/ owns where you live if your making millions and why his new outfit hq is owned by someone who's made millions in real estate? why doesnt he live in his pickering house he allegedly got from a developer for free in the early 90s (1567 Oakburn St Pickering, ON)

Starting from the beginning- I saw an ad online for an info session on US real estate and since I was interested in learning about US real estate I went. The first info session was just a couple of hours of Glenn speaking generally about US real estate. This was to get people to come to his $1000 seminar which was 3 days. And so I did pay the $1000 and went. There was a lot of and I mean a lot of info thrown out at a speed of light. Glenn can speak pretty fast and the information given was good or so I thought at the time! So I go ahead and give them $25,000 for one trip down to Florida and to set up businesses in the US. They couldnt even put a trip together for Vegas cause there were no real estate to flip at a decent amount. All the prices had gone up and there was nothing being released from fannie mae. So I spend more money on air and hotel and go down there for a weekend. We went through a lot of real estate and we were shown different kinds of properties and the breakdowns, in a couple of cities. We spoke with their real estate agents but there was nothing I could buy at the time. I come back to the great white north and wait for them to contact me regarding properties that would suit me financially. After talking and emailing them weekly about how come you are not following up and finding me a property, then after 3 months one of their agents gets in touch with me to help me find a property. He send me emails here and there for the next 3 months on what's hot in the market. But as soon as I reply back ok go ahead he says oh you are too late it's already gone ( this was the day after he sent me the property info), or I cant locate the owner or some other excuse. They also have a customer service rep called John Dowdy who's paid to put out fires. I hope you are getting enough money for this job cause you must be taking a lot of heat from customers! everytime he would try to talk to me and explain things out but at the end of the day it got so repetitive and I just stopped calling and of course they didnt bother following up either. So they took $25000 from me to show me a bunch of properties in Florida that a real estate agent could have shown me for free.
Be very very careful with this group. They come off very nice and they look like they are down to earth and they want to help but they will try to get you to take money out of all your credit cards, RRSPs, loans and mortgaging your house to make themselves money. I have spoken with several other people that were at the same seminar and non of them has bought a property through Glenn and his team.
If you want to buy properties in US just go the city that you want to buy the property in and speak to several real estate agents and do your own research. There are tons of info on the internet. Dont give your hard earned money to any of these groups. I learned the hard way. I am hoping others in my situation will read this and keep their money.
