Glass-apps at glass-apps.com told me that there material was dimmable using any dimmer and after spending thousands to find out the a standard dimmer will burn out and fry the material. I found out after contacting other companies in the industry that you can only use special dimmers. I specifically asked this question and was told " NO PROBLEM" well gues what "HUGE Problem"
ComplaintContract issue: Glass-Apps provided shop drawings on a project and did not do the job to their own specifications. Customer service issue:Glass-Apps avoided and is still avoiding calls and emails for months. When finally admitting blame on the issue never rectified the situation and are once again not taking calls or returning emailsProduct issue: Glass-Apps does have a pretty good product but with the Worlds Worst Customer Service, NO WARRANTY, Habitually Late Deliveries, and Random Quality Control you never know what you are going to get and they demand 100% payment in advance so there is no recourse for their errors.Refund issue: They agreed to credit me back on an on an order that they messed up on but will not answer calls or emails. This is a one way company (money goes in) that will never accept responsibility for their errors and they make a lot of them. Warranty Issue:Glass-Apps.com offeres a warranty but will not to cover anything that they sell. If their product breaks or fails they will not accept responsibility. Their warranty clearly states that any issues must be reported within the first 72 hours. The way they answer calls or emails after a sale has been collected on it could take months to get thru to anyone. I have placed over 100k in orders with Glass-Apps for over 2 years so I know that this is not a one time occurrence. They have been burning me on every order in one way or another and this last time was the final straw when my customer decided to sue me if I did not give them their money back. Glass-Apps clearly admitted that they did not supply what was ordered in an email but never did anything about the problem.Product_Or_Service: 3 Switchable Glass PanelsOrder_Number: ****Desired SettlementI was forced to pay my customer $2500.00 to repair 3 large pieces of glass that Glass-Apps shipped to me out of their own spec tolerances. Glass Apps agreed to cover these charges and then decided to not reply to emails or answer my calls. I have an email from them agreeing to take 10% off the invoice total which is 1/2 of the money I paid out but they will not even pay on that. - See more at: bbb.org/losangelessiliconvalley/business-reviews/glass-plate-and-window/glass-apps-in-culver-city-ca-264414/complaints#sthash.TkupXSbC.dpuf
