I was called from 402-336-0018. It was an Indian woman speaking broken english claiming to be in CA. She said my cell phone was a business phone. My cell is on the Do-not-call-list. I just verified. It's also not a business phone. As soon as I asked her how she got my number she hung up.
Called back for a manager. He refused to give me his business address. He barely spoke english (Indian) yet also claimed to be in CA. He would provide me with zero contact info and also hung up.
I called back, they would pick up and hang up.
So I've been doing research today. Turns out, they're not a real american company. It's a telemarketing ploy calling from overseas. They will take your money, but if they don't deliver guess what you can do??? Zero, Zilch, zip, nada! You can't do a thing to them in India.
Do not do business with these people! Total scam / joke! (If they do balckhat SEO you will end up being harmed by google when they catch you. and they will. When that happens, bet you a million bucks they have changed there phone #'s.
They charged me $700 on a phone call and I was idiot enough to give them a credit card. I thought they were charging me $6.99 cents. Their accent is heavy and I did not understand them. Yes I was an idiot to do this but sometimes, you are just weak on a Friday. They in fact were from India. I confirmed this by calling the building they said they reside in, Irvine Califorinia, and just before they called me, my GEO website tracking service bliped and I saw the visitor looking at my phone number and he was fron India! So they can't hide on the internet, I mean, don't they know this?
Then they called, asking to stop the back charge. I told them, no contract, no receipt, no permission. So they bargained for half, having done nothing. Then they gave me a full refund, by email, but I see no refund received by the credit card company yet. Then to top this off, a guy with an American accent called me to tell me he was a Google partner. I see no evidence of this, no logo, and Google doesn't know them. I emailed Google to confirm.
I googled Expert Marketing, the people that charged me and they were there in Irvine California, but a lot of bad links, missing logos, and they seem to be in a lot of directories, but there is no website for Expert marketing. Gettinfrontpage is not 7 years old, it is 1 year old, and so a lot of things don't add up, including I tracked all of their examples of their work and let to directories but I haven't found a client yet.
Anyway, don't do what I did, don't give your credit card on line to anyone like this for any reason promising SEO services. Do your homework.
