Gi2c did it again. The scam artist owner Yuri changed his company name for the fifth time that we know of. Now he is running the same China job and internship fraud under the name of "Laowai Career Center" after tha last name change of WiseWay Global was exposed. Just Google "Laowai, China, job, scams, fraud". for more details. This guy won't quit scamming people until one of his victims tracks him down like a dog and gives him a beating that will convince him to "retire".
I found out after I was called by two different people from each company and when they gave me links to their web site, I noticed that the office address was the same in Beijing. I then was quoted the same identical price for the same internship. When I asked for referrals they gave me the same three phone numbers but with different names! These guys are slippery as a snake in the grass during a rain storm! This is all it took for me to say "No Thanks!" Then I found this online https://chinascampatrol.wordpress.com/2015/04/25/is-gi2c-china-internship-program-a-legal-scam-or-legit/
They look great on their website, with their testimonials, and with their reviews. But nothing they say about themselves is actually true. Google "Gi2c Scam" and see what I mean. Scam.com, RealScam.com, and Scam-Detector.com have the best "reviews" and here is the short summary about them: http://ChinaScamPatrol.wordpress.com Advice? A V O I D !
Do not, I repeat... do NOT believe their BS. Most all the reviews and testimonials are fabricated. Since 2013 China internships for expats are illegal UNLESS you get a certification letter from the PSB to take when you apply for your Chinese Visa. If you attempt to sign up with Gi2c or anyone else, without this special letter, you will get a free month's stay in a Chinese jail before getting deported. Read up here friends...

Notice: getin2china group is owned by a russian dude name yuri khlystov who also runs the same scam under different names including gi2c.
The scam that khlystov peddles is a fraudulent china internship program that is actually illegal by chinese law as you can see in these two links:

Using mail chimp they spam their emails to hundreds of college students every day advising them of job opportunities in china and inviting them to send their resumes for "consideration". More often than not the word "internship" is not even used and the focus is on "high-paying jobs". Attachments or links will include legitimate articles from forbes, wall street journal, or new york times that confirm the big job boom in china. Other bait used includes over a hundred ads spammed every week at milkround, prospects, etc. Those who take the bait are then called by skype and led down a golden path lined with fake testimonials and shown a very impressive website That had me fooled for two weeks).
The gi2c "career specialist" Sales rep) gives you so much shit to read All their propaganda and alleged "success stories") that you really don't have time to do your own due diligence and research. If you did you might find all of these warnings all over the internet;

After they talk with you two times they will set you up with a phony job interview that you will swear is real. But to get that interview you must first pay a $300 processing or registration fee. They are very convincing and after 7 years of operating this scam, they have become so good at swindling that even a real hr staffer would think the interview is real - so don't feel bad if you are fooled as well. A day or two after the interview, you are told that you "are a qualified candidate and short-listed" but there is a catch...
You must complete a 90 day internship to prove yourself to the company! if during the internship management sees that you are reliable, competent and responsible you will "probably" be hired. "the job is yours to lose".
This makes sense o a lot of people who agree to even pay money to do this internship because they believe when it ends they will have a $60,000 job waiting for them! the gi2c internship placement fees range from $999 to $3,699 and if you complain about this, you are reminded that head hunters charge a lot more and when you get the $60,000 job, the placement fee you paid for the internship is a great deal. Most people even agree with this!
After you pay the money and go to china is when you first realize something is not right. "your own apartment" that was promised to you is really one tiny room in a shared apartment with three other strangers who were also expecting their own digs. Your roomies may be cool people or they could be racists, slob assholes with a contagious disease. It comes down to luck i suppose.
You report for work as an intern only to discover the company is not some huge international company, but some 2nd or 3rd tier start up in desperate need of free labor or a chinese company that is only a vendor to the big international company that was mentioned to you on the phone. So now you double-check your contract and realize the fine print is something you should have read after all. You have legally been fucked over - and there is almost nothing you can do about this. Google "winnie maliko, china internship scam" and learn how one gi2c customer was victimized. Now multiply her by 179 - the average number of interns who filed complaints with china scam patrol every month during 2014. See china scam patrol report)
But there is a sliver lining to all these internship scams in china...
You can actually get a real fortune 500 company internship in china - for free! of course not many people will tell you this because they would prefer to make money from your gullibility. See this links and you will see there are no string attached, nothing to by way of getting these top drawer internships: http://www.Wallstreetoasis.com/forums/100-free-china-inernships-no-scams-no-really
The same Russian that owns Getin2China Group also owns another China scam called Wiseway Global that ripped off my little brother for $30,000. About WiseWay Golbal Education...
This is an exact cookie cutter scam of the CUCAS study abroad fraud. They charge $30,000 to get you into "a top university" and guarantee you to get "a scholarship". In reality, all they really do is fill out your enrollment and scholarship application forms and then use the fine print of their contract and terms and conditions to weasel their way out of their verbal promises and obligations. http://www.realscam.com/f51/wiseway-global-education-scam-beijing-china-4421/#post116467
Because they are based in Beijing China, you have no legal recourse and the Chinese government cares less about foreigners getting cheated. If a Chinese student complains they get refunded immediately!
Less than 5% of applicants actually get into a top university but their book fool of fake and photoshopped I-20 letters tell a different story. And it is true that all of their applicants win a "scholarship" but it is one you never heard of because it is one they themselves created and to legally meet the terms of their contract, every customer gets a $1,000 rebate which they conveniently call "a scholarship".
All of their review and testimonial videos are fake and they use foreign expat teachers to recruit gullible victims for them and for bring a new sheep to the pack of wolves they are paid $1,000. Warn all your friends to avoid these thieves.
I also found out from an honest cop in Beijing that Yuri also owns two other scams called Gi2c and Laowai Career Center. This man is a Scam Octopus and all of his victims are young high school or university kids who are gullible and naive! Please spread the word on any expat or tefl or reddit forums you use. He is already famous at http://reddit.com/r/chinascampatrol
Beware the scammers changed their name for the third time in 7 years. They also changed their office location from Dongcheng District to Haidian District in Beijing. Here is story... http://eslwatch.info/eslwatch-forum/china/275-is-wiseway-global-education-another-gi2c-china-internship-scam.html#691
