Geauga Vision located at St. Vincent Charity Hospital is a community-based provider of eye exams and glasses with ties to the Lions Club.
Earlier in 2014, I submitted an application for services. After waiting an eternity and far too many follow-up phonecalls later, I received an late March or April appointment for an eye exam and a pair of glasses that cost me a $10.00 copay.
On or about 27 October 2014, I called Geauga Vision to report that the frames of the glasses I received fell apart. I took them in on or about Wednesday, 29 October for Optician and Office Manager (according to Geauga Vision's website) Wanda Balogh to examine the broken glasses and provide a resolution.
She said she would contact the provider of the frames for a replacement, as she had none on hand.
I called Geauga Vision after two weeks, which was longer than it had taken to get the glasses made from scratch with the lenses.
Wanda gave some noncommittal excuse as to why the frames weren't available.
I have called and e'mailed since, demanded my $10.00 refunded, and still have no glasses, no refund, and no follow-through of any kind.
