I ordered 100% cotton Regal 1800 Series Deep Pocket 6 Piece Bed Sheet Set. I received 100% polyester. This company has sold over 500,000 items on ebay. They have a canned response for everything. They sell fake and counterfeit products. Rather than own up to their fraud and refund. They just keep you chasing your tail until you give up. There was no labeling on the package indicating the contents are polyester. After opening the package I could read the label that said 100% Poly. Ebay sided with them and refused to refund my money. I filed a complaint with the FTC. NEVER BUY WITHOUT READING THE REVIEWS. Which are full of similar cases. They even got ebay to remove my negative review.If I can't get a refund I want to warn as many people I can and prevent them from buying anything from GearXS on Ebay. I hope the FTC investagates gearxs
I ordered leggings on 12/04. The website said leggings, and my invoice said/says leggings.
On 12/18, I received the shipment. They contained tights, not leggings. The package even said tights. The material is tights material. It is translucent, which means you can see through it. If one attempts to wear these as leggings, the whole world will see this person's underwear because these are translucent tights, not opaque leggings.
I phoned customer service on 12/18 and waited 11 minutes to speak with a representative. I was told that GearsXS had verified with the manufacturer that the product is leggings, even though it says tights on the package. I explained to the CSR that the material is wrong for leggings and that these are tights. I ultimately was told that if I was unhappy with the product, I could return it, but I would be subject to a 20% restock fee. (So in addition to having to pay the return shipping for products I did not order, I would now have to sacrifice an additional 20%!)
Note that the website has since changed the product name to be "Tights-Leggings." If they were really leggings, they wouldn't have had to change the title of the page! Dishonest, unethical liars. This is a bait and switch.
Every opportunity for you're company or anyone to respond was afforded, I posed simple questions and also attempted to call the company direct. I stayed on the phone from 12:10, until 12:30, listening to the most annoying, repetitive song ever!. As you can see from my purchase log all items were ordered at the same time, yet the package from gearxs has yet to arrive. It is appalling at best to not expect nothing less from a first time buyer. If you value customers so highly, you could have made every attempt to satisfy my arrival. Yet I was met with apology after apology and STILL no product. I predict this company fails miserably and you will receive negative feedback often.
This is bad business and what should have been done, was for you're company to expedite my package for my inconvenience and not an hollow apology, which by the way fell on deaf ears. This will be my final purchase EVER from this company and I will make it my business to also include this company on .This is what you deserve, nothing more!. Furthermore this company is currently posted on and it is my hope that something can be done to remove this company from doing business in the future and continue to ripoff consumers, time after time.
