Two hours after i sent the money he told me for the loan i would have to pay for the insurances which would pay off my debt if i would not be able to that it would be 250 via money gram so i did send it. But later that day he told me he wasnt able to finish up my process do to western union being close, sens i would be getting my loan and the 400 dollars i had sent them that where being reimbursed. So, this morning micheal calls me again saying to activate my account with western union i would have to pay 300 but he asured that i would not pay no more money and if i did have to he with reimburse my 700 dollars himself so after two hours james calls me and lets me know that i would have to pay another 300 thats whrn i just lost it because it was to much already.

Called James Marshall with the number on the back. When they called me back for one more payment. I refused. When I demanded my money back, he said it would be returned to my account within 60 days. I did, we "finished" up the application process, he tells me he's going to call me once the funds are ready to be transferred, give him 5-10mins, done that, he calls back asking do I know why my credit is low, and that according to some federal law he needed to verify that I would be capable of paying back on the loan. I was instructed to purchase and load $182.50 on an money pak (was very helpful on where to purchase it) when I asked why, according to this same federal law prohibited online payday loan companies on verifying through accounts. So I do as instructed, including providing the pin on the back of the card, in which Bob Benjamin assured me that the funds on the moneypak wouldn't be touched and that in fact the funds would be transferred to my account along with my loan bringing it to an total of $2182.50. From this point it has been I will call you in 30/35mins or Mr. Benjamin is in the funding dept. working on your transfer he will give you a call in 5/10mins. So I resulted to emailing him, and Lord behold when Google sent me an "failed delivery" message stating" technical details of permanent failure. Google tried to deliver your message but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain. ...I lost it. It has been your typical" thank you for calling. ..away from my desk yadayada voice mail greeting ever since.
I am getting calls and a recent voicemail from an Eric Johnson claiming to be from GE Capital Bank. I have not called back until I found information on here that he apparently has been doing this for sometime. I called back (blocked my number) and told him I had reported them to the authorities so hopefully the calls will end. I have applied for a loan recently and receibed another scam yesterday from a company pretending to give me a loan called Advance America at 804-403-4147 I believe it was North Carolina area when I googled it!
GE Capital, or Synchrony Bank offered me a personal, unsecured loan for pretty much whatever amount I wanted, with 10% financing (HA!!). I told them that I was suspicious of them when they mentioned that the debt would be covered by insurance, and that I needed to send them $80 for that. I told them I didn't have $80, and that I thought they were a scam!

He told me he reviewed my credit history & he saw that I owe alot of debt to different credits cards. He asked me was I interested in appliaing for a loan to consoldate my bills. I ask him what was the hightest amount that a person could get he told me up to $75,000. I ask for a $35,000 loan so I could pay off all my debt. He said, I could a monthly payment of $300 at 3% interest for 10 years. Then he stated, I would have to go to either Walgreens, or 7 Eleven to buy the "Green Dot" Pay Pal money pak cards to put money on the cards inorder to pay for fee's for insurance, & wiring fee's. I bought a total of 6 cards with different amounts on them. $333, $300, $160, $400, $400, & $500 all these fee's were suppose to cover everything. which by the way never happen. I was so personally desvated when this happen to me & I couldn't believe that people would sceme to helpless people like myself. I was so desperate to find a way to just pay my bills I feel like a complete fool. I wrote this complaint so other people would know the danger how they are scemers to take your. of your money. All they did is promised me that I would have money wired into my checking account (which never happen). I decided to go to my bank "First Midwest" i shared this information with the bank they immediatly put a stop on my account & all preauthorized deductions. Hello recived an emial stating that i was apporved for a 3000 dollar lone. So i called them they wanted $49. So i did that. They wanted more so i did give them 120, 137, 150, 100. Know they want me to give them 200 more i told them i want all my money back cause there was no way to get it. They told me that it would take up to 35 bussiness days to get it back when i told them i want to back today they hung up the phone on me.
I have tried for day to contact CareCredit to arrange a payment on a pronotional item that I knew was due. At the time I couldnot access via my computer as my service was too intermittent due to my computer. I had hoped to pay over the phone. I dialed the number given - tinme after time for several day and there was no serivice at all!! NO way to contact them except via this phone number and I was not abe to arrange a payment

I sent in 2 payments for different credit cards and both checks were hijacked. I called the compnay for Lowe's and tried to get someone to assist but all they could care for is call the bank. Since the employee of this palce had to take the checks from them and then rewrite them to cash at some other location. They had no one that cared at all on this issue and told me to call a lawyer andsue them if I though I could get away with it. Since bothof the cards are from major retailer you would think that they would want o assist the client and find out who stealing checks.

They took my first 2 payments. the third one will go through ok, but they are saying that they are placing it on "HOLD" because it was suspicious. Really? Using the same account we made the earlier payment for $1180 and some change and now a second payment for $643 to pay off my balance, they have to think it's suspicious? And I was able to furnish that I am the account holder to the money that was taken out for the $1180 but this lady want more. It's ridiculous and unncessary. The attorney general for California needs to step in to help us out here. We just need a $0 balance letter for a bill we paid so we can buy a home and these creeps are making it hell. I left a voicemail for her supervisor, but nothing yet.

18 months ago I purchased a mattress from the SLEEP NUMBER STORE. I financed a portion of it because the store offered interest free for the first 18 months from GE CAPITAL. I spent about $3000 total on a mattress, not cheap: I thought I had really got a steal, great deal. Fast forward 18 months and my remaining balance is now $525. However when I checked my balance online, I was surprised to see a balance of almost $1200 instead. I called GE to see what the problem was and they informed me that since I did not pay the total balance due within the 18 month promotional period, they charged me almost $700 in interest dating back 18 months. I was furious. SLEEP NUMBER STORE never said if you don't pay it off in 18 months, the interest accumulates; they never said I would be penalized by not paying the total amount in 18 months. I was duped. This was false advertisement. A ploy to suck you into financing so that they can penalize you in the end. A reasonable person would think...18 months free and then interest begins at 18 months on the rest of the balance due. After speaking with a supervisor, and fighting and arguing, I was able to get just 6 weeks extension to payoff $525. It's December, Christmas time, I do not have that money at my disposal. I feel violated, upset and defrauded. This has to be against some kind of law. I would have never financed this mattress if I knew I'd pay $700 in interest after 18 months. Or I would have applied just a few more dollars to make sure I paid it in the 18 month period to avoid this problem. But I WAS NOT INFORMED!! I never made one late payment! I have another account at LIVING SPACES and that promotional period was for the first 12 months interest free. So now, I am wondering if the same rules apply. Should I expect to get a huge bill once that period is up? These stores and GE should put this in big bold type and not hide it in fine print. I will never finance through this company again. I will be posting this anywhere I can to warn people about this SCAM. BEWARE!!!!

Was contacted on Oct.24th after searching for a small personal loan from an online loan service.After submitting
my basics I recieved a call from Shawn Watkins of ge capital, offering me a pre aproved loan based on my
information. We then agreed on 8,000 and the first loan document was sent while I was purchasing a ReLoadit
card provided by Blackhawk Network California at a stater brothes. I was informed by Mr. watkins was done for
the guarantee of transfer of funds provided by the company Blackhawk Network California.
200.00 to be reemburst when second payment month was delivered to GE capital..
The loan document had the wrong name and information. I called Mr. Watkins right away and tried to cancel
the whole deal..
Refund the money from the account you deposited my installment into.. I dont want your loan..
The agreement was corrected and new document was sent with proper name and terms.
I involved My bank at every step of the way, even putting Mr. Watkins on the phone with Mr. Chris Bigalow,
lead sales and financing director at Bank Of America.

I did, we "finished" up the application process, he tells me he's going to call me once the funds are ready to be transferred, give him 5-10mins, done that, he calls back asking do I know why my credit is low, and that according to some federal law he needed to verify that I would be capable of paying back on the loan. I was instructed to purchase and load $182.50 on an money pak (was very helpful on where to purchase it) when I asked why, according to this same federal law prohibited online payday loan companies on verifying through accounts. So I do as instructed, including providing the pin on the back of the card, in which Bob Benjamin assured me that the funds on the moneypak wouldn't be touched and that in fact the funds would be transferred to my account along with my loan bringing it to an total of $2182.50. From this point it has been I will call you in 30/35mins or Mr. Benjamin is in the funding dept. working on your transfer he will give you a call in 5/10mins. So I resulted to emailing him, and Lord behold when Google sent me an "failed delivery" message stating" technical details of permanent failure. Google tried to deliver your message but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain. ...I lost it. It has been your typical" thank you for calling. ..away from my desk yadayada voice mail greeting ever since.
I am getting calls and a recent voicemail from an Eric Johnson claiming to be from GE Capital Bank. I have not called back until I found information on here that he apparently has been doing this for sometime. I called back (blocked my number) and told him I had reported them to the authorities so hopefully the calls will end. I have applied for a loan recently and receibed another scam yesterday from a company pretending to give me a loan called Advance America at 804-403-4147 I believe it was North Carolina area when I googled it!
GE Capital, or Synchrony Bank offered me a personal, unsecured loan for pretty much whatever amount I wanted, with 10% financing (HA!!). I told them that I was suspicious of them when they mentioned that the debt would be covered by insurance, and that I needed to send them $80 for that. I told them I didn't have $80, and that I thought they were a scam!
Don't send these thieves anything!! The phone number is 1-917-965-5537. These guys are Indian (Asian), using typical American names such as Eric Johnson.
On Sept. 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, & 26 2014. I received a called from a guy name Kevin Peterson from GE Capital. He told me he reviewed my credit history & he saw that I owe alot of debt to different credits cards. He asked me was I interested in appliaing for a loan to consoldate my bills. I ask him what was the hightest amount that a person could get he told me up to $75,000. I ask for a $35,000 loan so I could pay off all my debt. He said, I could a monthly payment of $300 at 3% interest for 10 years. Then he stated, I would have to go to either Walgreens, or 7 Eleven to buy the "Green Dot" Pay Pal money pak cards to put money on the cards inorder to pay for fee's for insurance, & wiring fee's. I bought a total of 6 cards with different amounts on them. $333, $300, $160, $400, $400, & $500 all these fee's were suppose to cover everything. which by the way never happen. I was so personally desvated when this happen to me & I couldn't believe that people would sceme to helpless people like myself. I was so desperate to find a way to just pay my bills I feel like a complete fool. I wrote this complaint so other people would know the danger how they are scemers to take your. of your money. All they did is promised me that I would have money wired into my checking account (which never happen). I decided to go to my bank "First Midwest" i shared this information with the bank they immediatly put a stop on my account & all preauthorized deductions. They informed me the banks donot do business that way to customers. Its good thing I followed my mine because they were still calling on my cell phone while I was at the bank. the scam artists was still calling me trying to convince me that I was doing the right thing. I told him you will not get anymore money from me or my account & I will put in a report with "Attorney General Office" the scam they are doing to people. Be aware of the Green Dot Pay Pal cards they mean you no good. The person on the other side of the phone is "Kevin Peterson" #646-937-9686, or #400-300-3266, or 999-999-999 Also be aware of the phony password:9974GE7295RP which is a joke. They are still a scam.
Hello recived an emial stating that i was apporved for a 3000 dollar lone. So i called them they wanted $49. So i did that. They wanted more so i did give them 120, 137, 150, 100. Know they want me to give them 200 more i told them i want all my money back cause there was no way to get it. They told me that it would take up to 35 bussiness days to get it back when i told them i want to back today they hung up the phone on me.
I have tried for day to contact CareCredit to arrange a payment on a pronotional item that I knew was due. At the time I couldnot access via my computer as my service was too intermittent due to my computer. I had hoped to pay over the phone. I dialed the number given - tinme after time for several day and there was no serivice at all!! NO way to contact them except via this phone number and I was not abe to arrange a payment

These services are quick enough to contact you when late and I cannot understand why there is not way for us to contact them My payment was due and I did try to get it taken care of yet could not amke phone access. Does not seem right that I have to pay a penalty that i was trying to advoid by payment over the ohone. There is not any other way to contact...no e-mail or anything just the above phone number. I do find the company at fault and question why one cannot contact them
I sent in 2 payments for different credit cards and both checks were hijacked. I called the compnay for Lowe's and tried to get someone to assist but all they could care for is call the bank. Since the employee of this palce had to take the checks from them and then rewrite them to cash at some other location. They had no one that cared at all on this issue and told me to call a lawyer andsue them if I though I could get away with it. Since bothof the cards are from major retailer you would think that they would want o assist the client and find out who stealing checks.
I need to clear my remaining balance for my Living Spaces account for a lender fora home I'm trying to buy, and so, I made a third payment to clear my account to $0, but a supervisor Desiree had said that I would have to fax her more info. I did, and still it wasn't enough. What are they, the IRS? They took my first 2 payments. the third one will go through ok, but they are saying that they are placing it on "HOLD" because it was suspicious. Really? Using the same account we made the earlier payment for $1180 and some change and now a second payment for $643 to pay off my balance, they have to think it's suspicious? And I was able to furnish that I am the account holder to the money that was taken out for the $1180 but this lady want more. It's ridiculous and unncessary. The attorney general for California needs to step in to help us out here. We just need a $0 balance letter for a bill we paid so we can buy a home and these creeps are making it hell. I left a voicemail for her supervisor, but nothing yet.

After becoming unemployed, i filed an insurance claims on my GE Capital Bank accounts. I was approved. A few weeks after the accounts were paid off, the company drastically cut the credit limits on all of my accounts. I felt totally ripped off. Now the accounts are not worth using because i can't utilize any incentives originally offered.

18 months ago I purchased a mattress from the SLEEP NUMBER STORE. I financed a portion of it because the store offered interest free for the first 18 months from GE CAPITAL. I spent about $3000 total on a mattress, not cheap: I thought I had really got a steal, great deal. Fast forward 18 months and my remaining balance is now $525. However when I checked my balance online, I was surprised to see a balance of almost $1200 instead. I called GE to see what the problem was and they informed me that since I did not pay the total balance due within the 18 month promotional period, they charged me almost $700 in interest dating back 18 months. I was furious. SLEEP NUMBER STORE never said if you don't pay it off in 18 months, the interest accumulates; they never said I would be penalized by not paying the total amount in 18 months. I was duped. This was false advertisement. A ploy to suck you into financing so that they can penalize you in the end. A reasonable person would think...18 months free and then interest begins at 18 months on the rest of the balance due. After speaking with a supervisor, and fighting and arguing, I was able to get just 6 weeks extension to payoff $525. It's December, Christmas time, I do not have that money at my disposal. I feel violated, upset and defrauded. This has to be against some kind of law. I would have never financed this mattress if I knew I'd pay $700 in interest after 18 months. Or I would have applied just a few more dollars to make sure I paid it in the 18 month period to avoid this problem. But I WAS NOT INFORMED!! I never made one late payment! I have another account at LIVING SPACES and that promotional period was for the first 12 months interest free. So now, I am wondering if the same rules apply. Should I expect to get a huge bill once that period is up? These stores and GE should put this in big bold type and not hide it in fine print. I will never finance through this company again. I will be posting this anywhere I can to warn people about this SCAM. BEWARE!!!!
