I have been a customer for about a year with this company and my bills ranges from $57-$89 monthly but suddenly it came in at $239 and I was told that if I did not pay it that my sercvice would be disconnected mind you I was not late I was given a estimate for a new month that I will not have any use for because I went with another gas provider I don't know what they are looking for as far as credit my credit is not A1 but it is decent I went with Ga natural who ran my credit and gave me a fixed rate. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE EVER..i FEEL THAT THEY ARE A RIPOFF
Went online to get service a technician who does not work for the company he was a subcontractor came to the house and informs me that he cannot hook up the gas because the furnace is not working. A month later we received a bill for $91.84 at this point our furnace is still not working but yet we're still being charged I call gas south speak to a supervisor and I am informed that I will be receiving a phone call into hours about the situation I never received a phone call within the two hours I called gas south back and was told my bill and then I had to pay it so I paid the amount then I'm told that there's a billing cycle from the 12th to the following month the 1st that would be the ending billing cycle said that another Bill will be coming in for over $40 and again my furnace still doesn't work. We have been charged for services that we have not received don't waste your time complaining to gas south it won't do anything for you. Moral of the story when a technician comes to your home representing gas south they need to inform you that you will receive a bill even though you're not using their services and if you want to cancel your service you need to do so now but they will not tell you that until the bill comes and you will receive not one bill but two bills. The worst customer service it's a scam!!!!!
