Please be aware that this is not a real property management busisness. They post on Craigslist using stolen photos from other properties and act as if they have rental units. I talked to Gary, who has an African accent and got offended and became verbally abusive when I asked to see the condo in person before sending him $1,800. He also wanted me to fill out a poorly made application asking for all of my personal information including social security number.
Upon googling the email address, I found that the website and domain was created a few weeks ago. Buyer beware! I almost fell for this scam.
This is not a legitmate site. Thank goodness we researched it and found a report on them on this site just posted yesterday. ""Gary"" has placed an add for a Washington DC rental near Duport Circle. He asked for $1000 security deposit and the price was $1800/month. This was a summer rental to which he was very agreeable. He said he would give a $500 discount if we paid for the 2 1/2 months all at once and that he would send a notorized lease. But the scanned copy of the lease did not have an official notory stamp or signature. The website was only created a month ago. The photos on the website of the realtors are from stock photography and the site isn't even found on google search. Plus they are not listed in any property management lists in DC. He also would not let friends go view the apartment and suggested Paypal for payment.
This is now the second report of this company posted on Ripoffreport.com.
Do not believe this site. It is definitely a scam. We will report them to the Better Business Bureau and Craigslist as well.
