I placed an order online for "free" Garcinia Gambogia and CleansePro that "appeared" to be endorsed by Dr. Oz. All I had to pay for was the shipping costs. Received ONLY the "freebies" - no other info in the packages. Thirteen days after I placed the order, my credit card was charged $79.95 and 89.95 by the same company(ies). They now claimed I had not cancelled within the "14 day trial period".
Based on the days I received the packages I actually had only 9 days to try one and 7 days to try the other - they did not even allow transit or delivery time. They claimed I had signed up for an "auto-ship" program and the first auto-ship had already been mailed. I NEVER received that product. So to make a long story short those "free" trials are NOT FREE. They are a scam to reel in the fish!
I disputed with Synchrony Bank MC and because the merchant "stated I had not complied with the cancellation policy", the Bank has refused to credit my account. I'm out almost $170. The Bank advised I call the merchant and ask for a refund. When I call I get an automated message "Our records show you have cancelled your account and you have no future shipments scheduled. Goodbye."
The bottle do not have a company name on them. Only Garcinia Gambogia on one and CleansePro on the other. The order confirmation for the "freebies" (ha) do not disclose anything about any policies or contain and company name. I think they just put different labels on these trial bottles and then go in for the kill. Buyer Beware!
