I've been a customer of this company for over 8 years. Recently, I was renting a VOIP Server from this company, when our server started getting heavy lag spikes and the service was being disrupted.
I contacted their support and a representative named Brendan offered to switch me to a new server box. I explained to him that this was at least the third time that I've experienced this problem with his company, and that I was unwilling to undergo the same inconvenience of switching server addresses all over again.
He replied and told me that there is nothing more that he could do, and he closed my ticket. After exchanging some messages with him, and having him close my ticket multiple times, I demanded to speak to a manager. The manager gave me a theory as to why my server was having the problems and failed to keep me posted as to the actions that would be taken to assure me that my server would no longer be experiencing issues.
After my horrible customer support experience with Brenadan, who felt it necessary to constantly close my support tickets, I submitted a ticket requesting the cancellation of my service and a pro-rated refund for the remainder of the month, which I had paid for in advance.
Brendan replied to my ticket and refused to provide a refund, as per his company's policy. He of all people was well-aware of the already awful experience I had with his company, and after closing my ticket twice-more, he unilaterally decided to deny my request for a pro-rated refund.
This experience has possibly been one of the worst in my life. I have never dealt with such an uncooperative and unwilling employee through any company I've ever done business with.
Buyer beware... These guys love to take your money. When it comes time to step up to the plate and support the service they're providing you? They hit you with canned responses, they close your tickets, and they obviously don't value customer loyalty, otherwise, I wouldn't have been treated like a worthless pile of excrement.
