We found a car on AutoTrader that we decided to go see at Galeana Kia. We had been shopping for a few days and had already had the run around by several ""not so reputable"" used car sales places. Because of this we decided to go to a ""dealer"". Where we thought we would find a fair and honest deal.
After seeing and test driving the car we were interested in, we went inside to come to terms with the salesman. There was the usual back and forth with the finance person and the manager and finally we came to an agreement.
The salesman and manager asked us to wait because they were just about to change the oil that very day and this was going to take a little time. In addition they wanted to make sure that the car was ""serviced properly"" (oil changed, filters changed, tires checked, gased up & car cleaned). After 3 plus hours the car was delivered.
It was not cleaned well but it was acceptable because we knew we would clean it ourselves soon and the gas registered the same as when we did the test drive. We just filled the car and let it go. The next day we registered for OnStar and SiriusXM online. Within 2 hours we received our 1st OnStar Vehicle Diagnostics report. What a surprise to find that the oil was at 40% and all of the tires were 4-5 below recommended psi. At this point we checked the air filters only to find that they had not been replaced either.
We called the salesman and told him our findings. He did not comment on the things that were undone. He only said he would get with his manager and get back to us. It is now 5 days later and and we have not heard a word from tje salesman or his manager. We will be calling the manager soon to see if he will make amends. We will let you know if they are really reputable or just another ""BOGUS"" car dealer.
