To start off i serach on craigs and find a Job for janitorial services, So i send my Resume, the next day i recieve a phone
call from a young female saying to please come in for an interview with your resume and 100 dollars and that the job was
paying 18 dollars an hour. So i go there at GPC INC 10 east 39th street 10016 between 5th and madison avenue and greeted by this guy call Mr Marra, tells me to sit down and asks for my resume.
he looks at it for 30 seconds and then asks me why should i hire you? Then im all excited thinking im gonna get this job
paying 18 bucks and hour, so i tell all the reasons why he should hire me, then he says your hired! shook my hand and then
asked me for the hundred dollars so i inocently gave it to him and then he said it was for the OSHA 10 hour general class
40 dollars and the application fee 60 dollars, I looked at the paper that i was about to sign and it said 499 dollar OSHA
10 hour Genaral i was like WOW thats a lot of money, he said to come back later with the rest of the money if i wanted to
get that OSHA course, So i was in a bit of trouble and started asking my self is this guy is legit? Well he just said i was
hired and for sure i was gonna get paid 18 dollars an hour,
So i had to come back the next day and give him 439 dollars cash, all said and done after i gave it to him he gave me a piece of paper telling where to go for the OSHA test, So i went and got my certificate which was to my surprise a legit place and the teacher was a real OSHA instructor. So i did
everything what that guy Marra told me to do, then he told me to call him on monday to scheduale my suppose First day
at work i thought, So i call that monday and then he tells me to come a week later with my resume, 2 refrences, Shirt
and tie, at this point i was like WTF is going on, I thought i was hired and now he's telling me to do this all over again?
So i go back like he said again a week later and see him for a breif moment and tells me to meet this lady a few doors
down the hall, i walk in sit down pissed off, she takes my resume, looks at it and tells me what to change and put in, I told
the lady whats going on here i thought i was hired??? she says, I dont get into what you and Mr Marra talked about im just
here to get you hired, Thats when i got reaL UPSET, she handed me a sheet of paper with 3 jobs postings and webites where
i can log in and leave my resume with that job site. I was so upset at this moment, i was like i can do this my self?
So i go back to Marras office and asked to clarify what was going on, and told him that i thought i was hired, he said
those words never come out of my mouth. I was so sad and upset thinking this freaken guy just took my money i didnt even
have! watch out for this scam artist hes looks convincing but he's a dam liar!!
