Future fitness would not let me cancel my membership even though I had never signed with them, I signed back when it was Active Fitness. I had tried to cancel with them in October 2012 for health reasons and they said you must come in to cancel or send a certified letter. So I sent them a certified letter explaining my reasons for leaving which they say, later on, they never received. Fast forward to October 2013- I lost my debit card so I canceled it and got a new one. I start receiving notices in the mail that my future fitness account Was not paid And That I must pay them monthly fee and late fee. I ignored the notice, they had charged be $40 a month for a year when I had already cancelled my membership. I had not used there facility once in that entire year. It is now late April 2014 and they are calling and sending notices that I must pay them over $300 in monthly and late fees. I get a notice once a week or so and Justina from accounting has called me dozens of times asking for this money. I told them I was not paying it. She offered to give me 30% off of the bill because of the circumstances. I repeatedly told her I Was Not Paying them anything. Justina then said to me she's going to have this sent to collections and damage my credit. She said this over a month ago and guess what? She hasn't. She keeps telling me that she will do it. I hope she does. I look forward to it. I will fight this in court if I have to, I have documents to prove everything and they don't have a case. I'll tell you what Future Fitness I'll give you 30% off of the money you owe me. I would never recommend this gym. Horrible! I can't really give a review about the facility because I haven't been there since it was Active.

I've been a member at FF since 2006. I wanted to have my wife & son join, but couldn't afford the $99 sign up fee nor the $37/month for each of us. So I attempted to cancel my membership & found I had to give 90 days notice. I tried multiple times to meet with a manager, but they weren't available & wouldn't call back to get on their schedule. This went on for weeks when one receptionist finally suggested I leave a letter which was on 4/1. Because I was 1 day late I have to pay another month of fees. This has been a horrible customer service experience. I will never Join this club again. They make dealing with the state government seem like a pleasure.
