3 months ago got a call from fusion asking if I wanted to switch credit card processors. I own bagel store in long island. ilooked at their website www.thefusionway.com and they seemed good. They offered me a great rate so I signed up. Wow what a mistake!! I spoke with a guy named john lomax. Said he owned the place. Sounded good. Wrong! Said I woukd have next day funding. Wrong! Waited up to 3 days! Said I woukd get great customer service. Wrong! Had to call 3 times to get my terminal set up. Great rates? Wrong. Got dinged for over $ 400 in fees thought there were no fees for signing up. This john lomax. Couldnt get him on the phone. Tried several times. Always got some woman who said he was in a meeting. I am switching to another company. This is BS. Not getting ripped off!!!
I was a sales rep for Fusion aka the Fusion Way and I left because I couldn't deal with this horrible credit card processing company.
There rep support was one of THE worst I've ever dealt with and will try to screw you out of your commissions. I couldn't handle dealing with them or the way they would try to scam their merchants.
From all the hidden fees to the out right LIES they told their customers, it's amazing this company is even able to get by, but i guess when you steal the commissions of your reps it makes it .
When I first ran into problems I tried speaking to one of the co-founders of THE FUSION WAY, JOHN LOMAX and he was either "to busy" to help me or just completely ignored any requests I made to try to talk to him.
IF YOU ARE A MERCHANT do your research... they are on this site for a reason because of the people that work for this company.
Do yourself a favor and find another credit card processing company to work with. This company will rip you off and leave you with more hidden fees than your business can handle!
