Purchased two new chairs in March 2014. Owners were notified in September of 2014 of separation of material, looked at chairs in October 2014 and acknowleged there was a problem. He notified manufacturers district manager, and received an acknowlegement that the warranty of the chairs started when the dealer purchases the chairs, not the customer. Kind of a wierd thought??
In turn, I e-mailed the company(best home furnishings) stating the problem I was having with this company and the individual that I was working with. She stated that the warranties and repairs are handled through the store where the chairs were purchased.
We have made many attempts to communicate with this invidual via letter as well as phone calls which I have asked them to return the call, and have not received any call back.
I did find out that these products are three or four years old and have been either be on show room floor or in warehouse.
