When trying to return an item at a local store I was told I had a check on file and could not return anything until it was taken care of. I called the number the store gave me and nothing was found. I was given another number to call and got the same result. I was then given yet another number to call. They came up with a Nine year old check I had paid off many many years ago! Ive search up FSM and see this has happend to other people too.
