I ordered a $32 flower arrangment for my wife for delivery on Mother's Day. It was $58 by the time they got done with extra charges.
Then they didn't deliver on Mother's Day. A dry, wilted, sparse and thin flower arrangment was left at our garage door the next day. They didn't even get it to the right door, (the front door of course)...too lazy to walk the 20 steps from the driveway I guess.
When I complained, they offered to issue a refund of the same day delivery charge and a 20% refund. I agreed. What they sent was an email with a $12.99 credit to use on their website only. Nothing was credited back to my debit card.
These folks are not only deceiptful and underhanded, their product is as lousy as their business practices. I intend to make sure every one of my friends, family, acquaintances and social media followers know what they've done.
I placed a order for flowers for Mothers day to be delievred to my mothers job from the company fromyouflowers.com. I chose them because they had beatiful flowers and arangements and extras like candy and balloons. So, I placed the order and chose all the extras I wanted filled out all the information and selected the date to be delivered. The date I chose was Mothers Day and of corse it stated that there was an extra charge for that date and that it guaranteed delivery on Mothers day. I thought ok well that makes sence cause it is a huge holiday. I place my order and pay close to $80 for everything. I am happy I get my conformation email stating that everything is set for delivery on Mothers day and I am set mothers day is taken care of. My mom has to work all day for mothers day so I wanted to have the flowers delivered because she has to pull a double shift. Well after I place my order several hours later I mean like 6 to 7 hours later I get a call from a restricted number and a voice mail was left from ForYouFlowers stating to call them it was about my order. So I was like hmmm maybe they need to confirm the delivery address. I call them and wait about 15mins on hold to talk to a rep. When the rep gets on the phone she asks me the manner for my call. I tell her I am calling back cause I receieved a call from them saying I needed to call about my order. She says ok what is your conformation number I give her the number she looks up my order and states ok well it looks like your order was rejected. I asked what do you mean by rejected? The rep stated that the order could not be delivered on Mothers day but rather 2 days later! I was like well I paid extra to ensure that they would be delievered on mothers day. Reps states well I can refund you that extra charge and send the flowers to a different address on a different day. I was like well I needed them to get to her on Mothers Day. The rep was like well I can't help that we are not the florist we just take the orders and send them to the florist and they say rather they can be done or not. I was like wow so you guys wait to call me and tell me this and you tell me that you can't do anything about it and that to refund my money it's going to take 3 business days to go back into my account! I am a student and I don't make much money and I have been saving to get my mom something really nice and now I can't get her anything cause the money that I had saved up for mother day has been charged and won't be back in my account for days. I was very upset with the way this comapny handled their business. If you put something on your site and guarentee it and even have people pay for that guarentee then it should not go any other way than stated. Cause it's faulse advertisement to state one thing and do another. They claim to have great reviews but I don't see how when they messed up my mothers (Mother's day). I had to explain to my mom what happened and showed her the email conformation stating that I had ordered the flowers and she was livid about what they did to me and said wow that is crazy people should not do a large amount of business if they can't handle it. So needeless to say if you want something on time from this company you should look else where because they will rip you off and they have no compassion what so ever for you as the customer. Please order from another company! Buyer Beware!
I ordered flowers and plants for my boss’s father’s funeral 3 DAYS IN ADVANCE!!! They called me TODAY, 3 DAYS AFTER the funeral to inform me that the florist couldn’t deliver the flowers!!! They had my cell phone # and office phone # and didn’t bother to call me to let me know until 3 days after the funeral (they say the florist had a personal emergency. I really don’t care about that nor do I believe it after reading other reviews).
I cannot explain how infuriated I am. After I demanded an email sent immediately to me confirming my refund, a representative from the company had the nerve to call and offer my 50% off the order. I asked her if that’s why she called me and then told her absolutely not, there is no way I would ever do business with them ever, even if it was free.
I’ll deal with local florists only from now on, what a horrible lesson to learn
This company is an absolute nightmare to deal with. When you are ordering flowers for an occasion such as a wedding or funeral the date and time of delivery are important.
I ordered an arrangement for a funeral on 1/8. I specified that delivery be 1/10 before 12:00pm. I paid extra for guaranteed delivery and expedited service. At 10:45am I received an e-mail from them stating that they were unable to fulfill the order. With just over an hour until scheduled delivery I was left no options for replacement. When I contacted customer service the best they could offer was a free arrangement at a later date and a $20 gift card. This is completely unacceptable when you pay extra for guaranteed delivery. In the end I ended up spending triple my budget to bribe the local florist to drop what she was doing to arrange something for me, so that I could uphold my commitment to take care of the flowers for my grieving family.
The only thing I will give them credit for is that they are lightning fast at deleting Facebook comments and blocking twitter handles of angry customers. The business model of getting people's business 1 time, screwing it up, then trying to do damage control isn't sustainable. I look forward to the demise of this screwball company.
I ordered a Thanksgiving floral arrangement to be delivered in Michigan in Nov 2013. I received a confirmation emails stating my order had been delivered. Thinking it strange I had not heard from the recipients after Thanksgiving - I called and learned the delivery was NEVER received. When I called FYF.com, they "inquired" with the florist and told me the florist was unable toto make the delivery. I asked WHEN was I going to be notified of this... especially after they had already sent me a confirmation of delivery?!? The representative apologized and offered to get the order out right away - I reminded them it was a Thanksgiving Day Centerpiece and now after the fact - no thank you! I asked for and received a full refund (Glad I used PayPal)!
This week I regrettably decided to use them again to send a Peace Lily in memory of my neighbor who just passed away. The emails (they kept sending me) promised same day delivery (for an extra fee). I placed the order and requested same day service. I once again received an email confirmation of the same-day delivery of my order. Imagine my horror to learn the next day that the family DID NOT receive anything! I called FYF.com again and received almost verbatim the same excuse (let me contact the florist - they were unable to make the delivery that day - they promise to get it out ...) I am sure my recipients did not get the deluxe plant I ordered. I refuse to inquire with the grieving family to see if they received what I paid for (although I doubt they did). Rest assured I will NEVER use this company again!
