Fred Pryor Seminars Reviews

Because our business was signed up with Fred Pryor to receive free seminars, they send us a littany of emails toting their wares. One seminar looked promising and I decided to attend.

I opened the email that THEY sent me, I clicked the link, signed up for the seminar and was promptly sent an email with an order number and a zero dollar balance.

I walk in to the seminar, on February 10th, 2014 and my name isn't on the roster. The lady giving the seminar brings me a sheet of paper to fill out my information on. I think nothing of it, as I have my order number and confirmation in my briefcase.

On March 27th, I receive a notice saying payment of $49.00 is required and how they have made ""previous attempts"" to get the bill paid. Unfortunately, this is the first I'm seeing of any bill and am confused as to why I am getting a bill in the first place as it was free. I call them immediately, and she tells me I have to forward my confirmation email to customer service, and it will take a few weeks to process it. I email it promptly.

Today April 4, 2014, I receive a Final Payment Notice dated 4/1/14, saying I have 10 days to pay this bill or they are sending me to collections. I am furious. I call Fred Pryor, she tells me this time to fax a copy of the email to their accountant and he won't get it for 24-48 hours and it will take a few weeks to process.

By that time, the deadline for payment will have come and gone and they will turn me over to collections! What am I supposed to do? I emailed customer service back asking for resolution by April 8th, because it's before the deadline that THEY are giving ME to pay them for something I don't owe them for!

What shysters Fred Pryor and Career Track turned out to be! They trick you into this ""free"" seminar, conveniently leave your name off the roster and then they bill you and turn you over to collections? I am so shocked that companies can get away with this kind of ""business practice"".

What do I do now? Talk to a lawyer about a $49.00 bill? A retainer for a lawyer would be more than that! Maybe Fred Pryor Seminar and Career Track thinks that the $49.00 is a small price to pay to make them go away and that's how they make their money. Surely no one will risk their credit score over $49.00.

Well they stepped on the wrong cats tail. They will NOT get a penny out of me and I am going to tell as many people as I can what a dispicable company they are. I wish I would have read the reviews on them before I got involved with them!
