I worked for the firm for a while. In a brief amount of time I saw several people come and go. In fact, I saw some nearly 15 people leave the firm in less than half a year. The ones who didn't leave on sour terms were asked to write a letter full of pufferies praising the company and its owners, which they all did, and not because they had had a lovely experience but because they were afraid that if they didn't, they might have their chances of retaining gainful employment elsewhere hurt.
The owner of the company, Shane Bohart, brags about how the firm is growing and doing great while there are no people on the payroll. His own words. I had witnessed somebody complain about that and decided to pay attention, and I heard him admit to that himself. Basically, this company is built on free labor and the owner is proud of himself for that. And the local university is guilty of supplying them with students who are made to handle admin tasks and are verbally abused every time they make a mistake.
Half of the people on their website is no longer working there, although they keep telling the whole world via the Internet and via their recruiting approach that the company has 11-50 employees. Shame on them for pretending to be what they are not.
I also witnessed a former analyst complaining that there were people working directly under Shane Bohart, transacting real estate with buyes and sellers without a license and getting paid for it. I verified that and it turned out to be true. Shane Bohart himself is recorded admitting to it. It appears to be commission sharing, which in CO is against real estate licensing laws.
I am also aware of Shane Bohart's habit of breaching contracts he signs with his agents. Not an honest, ethical person.
Don't waste your precious time working for him. I did, I was mistreated, I learned a lesson. Don't put yourself in the same situation. Shane Bohart, who is seldom in the office, which he doesn't need to be because he has a bunch of people working for free to keep his business running, acts like he is better than everybody. He is divisive, egotistical, arrogant and untrustworthy.
