Went to Foreign Auto Imports, Monday-June 9, 2014 to purchase a car. After signing contracts and paying a down payment of $2000, in which finance manager asked me to lie to Credit Acceptance Company of Nevada and report to them I payed a down payment of $3,800. The car had various interior defects such as dirty seats, carpent, burned and holes in seats and doors. This 2008 Nissan had broken out dashboard parts in which they promised to fix. Foreign Auto Imports failed to share with me that the air conditioner was not working. I began to feel like I was being pressured into taking the car off the lot just so they could make a sale. Both manager and salesperson and finance manager were trying to SCAM me.suspected fraudelent activity, but I was unsure if I could back out the control because I felt uncomfortable with everything I was seeing. Above all I encountered that day at this disgrace of a car lot.
The major issue was the broken driver seatbelt, according to the law this vehicle should have not been on the lot for sale with defective seatbelts, which could cause death or serious injury. I expressed to the workers I would not move this car off the lot with broken seatbelts, he in turn said "you can buckle your driver seatbelt into the passenger side seatbelt". I continued to refuse and grew rather dissatisfied with the lack of concern, professionalism, safety, etc exhibited by Foreign Auto Imports. Due to my stance on not driving the vehicle saleperson offered to drive me in the unsafe vehicle off the lot to his friends auto garage. At the garage both saleperson and garage mechanic broke apart rear seatbelts and removed pieces from rear belts to attempt to fix front driver seatbelts, while observing the men I noticed the salesperson slide on of the broken springs from the rear seatbelt into the driver seat folder compartment so I would not see. I demanded to returned back to the lot and refunded, called my attorney of the $2000 down payment I was given $1200.I never drove away with car because it was unsafe and I felt uncomfortable. I was cheated out of $800. Received horrible customer service, scammed into purchasing a lemon and asked to lie to the bank about how much I paid on the down payment. Absolutely a horrible car dealer which needs to be investigated.
Went in for a car I saw online. Get there and it's sold so they said. I wanted an SUV so I wasn't interested in all the other cars they showed me. But the manger asked me to wait til they come back from the auction because one of the cars is a 2010 Nissan Rouge. I waited nearly 2 hours and was the last person in there. Saw the car @ 10pm and because it was dark wasn't sure if I wanted to purchase it. They repeatedly asked me to leave a deposit saying cars there sell fast and this one only had 42,000 miles on it. I offered to write a check and they refused. I said the only way I don't pay with a check is if I can get it back in the event I change my mind.
The guy ASSURED me it wouldn't be a problem. So I made a $500 deposit with the promise of coming or calling in the morning when I made my final decision. I couldn't sleep that night so I guess it was a sign. Anyway, I called first thing in the morning and they refuse to give me my money! Said they spent time and effort on my deal. And the cars been on hold for me. How much time and effort was wasted between 10 pm and 9 in the morning???? Not to mention the car is on their website. I will NEVER go back there much less buy anything! Be careful with your money people! If you value it, purchase somewhere else!!!
