We contrated with FLS Transportation in Atlanta Georgia to help them hire talent in a new office they were opening up. We went over their business strategy and positions that were needed and started working with them. We hired a Dispatcher and sent our invoice as usual. Everything was going fine and the new employee was doing well as advised by their team and Branch Director. The invoice period came and went and we never received payment for our services. We sent an email to Corporate in Canada and it seems that the Branch Director never forwared it along. So we sent the invoice directly to Corporate. They advised that they had processed the payment and cut the check and it was in the mail.
2 weeks went by and still no payment. We reached out again about our payment and they said it should have arrived by now. The next day we received a call from the Branch Director and he said he fired the Dispatcher due to her being pregnant and having morning sickness and that he had already replaced her! At about the same time I received an email from the VP-HR adivising that they held the check because she didn't work out. Well, as you can imagine that didn't sit well with us and according to our Services agreement the invoice was still due being she passed the guarantee period in the contract. The Branch Director called us back extremely angry and told us to F-off and that he would see us in court! We are not in litigation over this and all I can say is Beware of this company. Come to find out we were the 3rd claim within 1 year of them opening up in Atlanta! This was a first for us at my office being we normally deal with Fortune 500 clients and have never seen this level of dishonesty and lack of integrity before. I recommend not doing any business with this company at all and to stay far away from them as possible. Thanks.
