It is with a heavy-heart that I must submit a negative personal review of their services. Let me start off by saying these ladies were nothing but nice initially, and I harbor no ill will towards them. I would like to also say that my experience may have been a fluke, but regardless, I wish to share my experience. Sun Weddings was unwilling to work with our reasonable budget, and preferred regurgitating the same vendors up to 3-times in a row after we asked for different recommendations. All the vendors they recommended were straight off their list publicly available on their website. If you want vendor recommendations, just go on their site and save yourself some money and headache. I was forced to find and book vendors because Sun Weddings was obviously not going to branch out from the few recommendations. I found many vendors within our reasonable budget with little effort and booked them with little effort. I am not sure why Sun Weddings was unwilling to branch out. Sun Weddings was not responsive. They were great for roughly two-weeks, then we had to attempt contact with them. They hardly checked up on us or asked if they could help past the initial two weeks. We went four months without any communication. Sun Weddings is expensive for what you get. There are many more affordable and professional wedding planners. I can make no specific recommendations due to anticipation of legal threats. It is important to me that both the good and the bad are available so that consumers may make an informed decision. Sun Weddings was asked several times to work with us and to be more responsive and work with us more, but they made little effort to do so, so we terminated our contract with them. They refused to give back all of our money, but this was fine because it is better to have some than none. Also note that even though they have no liquidated damages clause in the contract you sign, they will insist that they retain a non-fundable portion of your money. I decided to rate Sun Weddings poorly, and was met with legal threats immediately. I was strong armed in to taking down my posts. These women are what I would call bullies. They legally threatened my soon-to-be family to get my posts down. After consulting with two different lawyers, I am now confident that I am well within my rights to post about my experience. After termination, Sun Weddings began contacting vendors telling them we may not be getting married. These women were irate and disrespectful to our vendors, and we received several complaints from our vendors about Sun Weddings’ disrespectfulness. This was unprofessional in my eyes. Please note that they were contacting our vendors AFTER we fired them.
