We stayed in one of Penny Morgan's Vacation homes in January of 2014 and never received our damage deposit back. After nearly 5 months of sending emails and leaving messages for penny Morgan we finally received a response which stated that she apologizes that we have not received the email she sent. she said her bookkeeper apparently emailed or attempted to email us concerning our deposit. She then stated that the hot tub was full of debris and had to be drained and that the unit could not be rented for 3 days because of it . Our response email was written as follows:
Penny,
We appreciate your response however we go on many vacations and rent often. We always leave the rentals spotless with all the trash pulled and everything put away. As for the hot tub we took special care and pulled the strainer to check just in case and assured it was clean. We did this do to a comment you had made to us about the previous renters leaving the hot tub dirty and you kept their deposit. I just find it strange that both mindy and I had tried contacting you via email and phone since February without response. We are expecting a full return of our deposit or we will be researching on-line reviews, better business bureaus, consumer affairs and other regulating offices to see if their are others in our situation. If we do not get our deposit back in a timely manner then we will be pursuing other avenues allowed by the state.

After sending the above email to penny morgan we received no response back. We called from another phone Penny Morgan answered right away. She said she would send the money back to us via paypal by Monday or Tuesday. it is now a week later and there has been n o money sent back to us.
We are in the process of drafting a letter to the BBB, Consumer affairs, trip advisor, and other regulating offices in our pursuit to receive our deposit back.
In conclusion I would like to say that I feel Penny Morgan has not been strait with us or her communications. Being that the people before us had there deposit taken as well it leads me to believe that Penny Morgan could possibly use the hot tub as a source to create extra revenue for here vacation rental company Morgan & Morgan Vacation Rentals.
There are other review online where penny morgan in Califorina with Morgan & Morgan Vacation rental has not returned other deposits as well.

We received a withdrawal from a contract of our appartment in Palma.
I payed all, but the renter wrote me we cant vĀ“come, his family will come.
