John W. Griffin of Fierce Drag Jewels is a very shady jeweler in the pageant industry. Sent him a beautiful brand new full rhinestones crown valued at $350 to be embellished with extra rhinestones - Mr John W. Griffin received my crown in March 2014 and then called me with an estimate of $600.00 which I paid upfront utilizing PayPal though he also offers to take credit cards directly over the phone. I am so THANKFUL that I didn't give this man my credit card number. Total fraud. He guaranteed me the crown by May 5th 2014 ! The entire month of May came and went and NO crown. I was gagging. I began contacting him relentlessly and all I got was one excuse after another and no crown! Unbelievable! Then when I reported him to PayPal he began a series of nasty, evil, threatening text messages, emails, and phone calls. KooKoo...tick tick boom.
It became a huge nightmare for me! He claimed that he shipped my crown off in June but he didnt have a tracking number to give me. I was so polite and at the mercy of this crooked thief. The more I asked for a tracking number the more excuses I got. My crown finally arrived at 4:43pm on Wed June 4 and was busted up broken - missing rhinestones - and a disasterous mess. The box was not even labeled fragile ! It was packed like left over box of old rice from the Chinesse Delivery. I have had to take the crown to be repaired... it has been a nightmare. Warning All Pageant Girls and Guys... I have since learned that John W. Griffin has a repeat behavior pattern of dealing with his clients in this unprofessional and shady manner. Furthermore, found out he left Lexington, KY because he allegedly stole antique jewelry and investigators are searching. He makes appearances at National Pageants in Dallas and Chicago and he is a cross dressing performer. But he mostly gets clients off the internet. Very very very shady. Beware Sistesr... if you see him or his name turn around and run the other way. Run for your life! PS... Will Never Refer anone to this transvestite cross dressing impostanator.
