I have an expensive watch and one of the bars in the buckle were coming out. I had asked my wife to get it repaired. She described the problem to the person there and they attempted to fix the problem by replacing the bar. In fixing that, they caused another problem where the trifold would not close which something you can find only when you wear it. When I wore the watch the next day, I realized that they had made the trifold loose. When I took the watch to their store again few days later (as soon as I got time), the lady at the counter looked at my receipt and argued that they had replaced 'Spring Bar' in my watch and the problem is not with that. Therefore, they can't fix that without being charged again. If I have any questions, I should talk to the manager the next day. I asked her to show where the 'Spring Bar' is and she showed me totally a different place than where the problem was. She argued that is what the receipt says. I showed her the receipt and showed that my wife's name was written totally wrong and it is possible that the repair work description similarly might be inaccurate as well. She argued that what was written is what was supplied and if people don't know how to write any better, that is not her fault. I asked her to get her repair instructions paperwork and she first refused to do so on the same day few times but when she got that out eventually , it said 'buckle bar' had to be repaired/replaced. When I asked her about that discrepancy, she yelled at me that their system has the same code for those two bars. I replied that it is beyond my control and I am not sure what part is called what but they should fix the problem they caused and she refused to honor it. Instead, she threatened me if I didn't leave, she would call the security. I had no choice than to leave. If they are not familiar with the exact terminology of different watches and their parts, they can't blame the customers for that. In that case, they should give the benefit of the doubt to the customers. They can't blame the customers if they can't keep proper record of their own work. When I went to another watch repair place that I am familiar with, he said my watch does NOT even have 'Spring Bar' and he fixed the problem in no time. This place is a totally rip off and does not know how to treat their customers properly.
