THe compnay overcharges to fix the computer but thats not even the worst part.,,,, they scam people in their script it says that the customer hast to bring in the computer to a bestbuy or staples and it is going to cost 250-350 dollars to fix and its going to take 3-5 days to fix.. They try to scar the consumer, then they say hey let me see if you computer qualifies for rempote suppot, let me check a few things.. THen they put u on hold and say yes i have good news your company does qualify for remote suppport and that its the smae prive as the store but more convient. meanwhile they never check anything they just put the comsumer on hold wait a few seconds and say it qualifies and guess what athy all qualify

Popup

Fast fix 123 puts popups (malware) on your computer and gives you their phone number. People call 24/7 about these popups. Then, level 1 technicians "diagnose" your computer. They use the event viewer to say that "you have trace damage." The event viewer doesn't show that. It shows errors from computer errors unrelated to malware. Then they offer to clean your computer from trace damage and sell you webroot. Meanwhile your computer is experiencing popups due to their own malware. Their prices are extremely high.

over charged

Fast fix got my daughter who is 18 to pay $400 dollars to fix her computer saying it was being hacked knowing she would believe them and got scared because she is away at college and needed her computer. They took advantage of a young person and that's not acceptable. People need to warn their kids of situations like this when they put pop ups on their computer.

They took $460.00 out of me .

I got the pop up on my screen too. I didn't think they were a scam I mean every where you surf online it's saying that they're legit . I mean they have a rip off report saying that they are the real deal . I found out they were a scam when I notice a charge on my credit card for $14.99 every two weeks .

Fast Fix 123 Scam

A pop up on my computer told me my computer was infected and prompt me to call Fast Fix 123. Thinking about this it became apparent that THEY were the one that infected my computer and NOW wants me to pay them through scare tactics to FIX it. All from the comfort of my home. I can only imagine that if I infected my computer it would NOT give me a phone number to call...I would just notice I had a problem and should seek out someone to fix it. They gave me a special Senior discount and tried to up-sell me for a Monthly fee. After I realized my mistake I called and cancelled everything. Always due your due diligence and read websites like this one and rip off reports. What a joke THEY put the Adware on your computer and now want to charge you to REMOVE it. Not to mention overcharging you for a simple repair!

Fast Fix 123 joins Ripoff Report Corporate Advocacy Business Remediation & Customer Satisfaction Program -- a long name for a program that does a lot for both consumers and business alike.

Ripoff Report Corporate Advocacy Business Remediation & Customer Satisfaction Program -- a program that benefits the consumer, which helps to increase consumer satisfaction and confidence when doing business with a member business Verified By Ripoff Report.

When a company or individual joins the Ripoff Report Corporate Advocacy Program, they must make a commitment to us – in writing – to 'doing whatever it takes to make things right with their customers.' What does that mean? It means that Ripoff Report expects that members of our Corporate Advocacy Program will review and respond to ALL customer complaints promptly.

It means that every complaint will be taken seriously and every customer will be treated fairly and with respect. It means if a customer did not receive what they expected, the company will work with that customer to fix the issue. It means that if a customer requests a refund and if there is any reasonable basis for that request, we expect the customer will be given a prompt refund (some refund requests may not be reasonable, so this does not mean a refund is guaranteed in every case). “Making things right” can mean lots of different things to different people, but our point is this - by working closely with the company or individual to resolve any disputes, Ripoff Report can track the footprints of customer service to ensure that our Corporate Advocacy Program members are doing everything they can to treat customers fairly and to increase their customer satisfaction.
