To preface what I am about to write, I am not a designer and I never worked with this woman. My observation is solely based during the 5 days of the fashion week show.
Maria Von Rhedy (if this is her real name) is basically a scam artist and she has no experience in producing a fashion show. I never witnessed such a disaster during the last show, and I felt so sad for all the designers that fell for her scams.
This message is any Designer who is thinking to work with this woman and her FAKE company....DONT!!!YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!!!
Here are three main reasons (not in a particular order).
1) Her name is mud. No professional buyer will work with her. She does not have a buyers list. If she produces a list for you, then you call each name on the list and you will find out that they are all bogus. She will promise you many things to get your money. Remember she is no affliation with any group. Her only goal is to take as much money from you as possible.
2) She does not have an office. The address on her website, facebook, or Linked account is not real. It is just a place for her mails. If you look at her website, there is no phone number to a direct line. She works from her cellphone. How can she has that many employees without an office?
3) There will no legitimate press or media people at the event. She just made up all those names as she goes. By the way, dont even think about working with Envy models!!
In short, avoid this woman at all cost. Don't be fool by her glossy bios on the internet. If you are still not certain about my review, then ask her for some type of guarantee or insurance. Even better, ask her for references from those designers from the show.
