I lost my hair due to breast cancer and I've always had long hair so it was very hard for me. I was SO excited when I found a wig on the webiste Fairwigs.com that was simliar to what my hair was like before I lost it. The wig was claimed to be 100 % human hair and it was $215 . But that didn't seem alot because I had NO hair at all & I was just devastated. I just have to say BEWARE !! I would NEVER EVER order from this company. First of all, they don't make it known on their site that they are in CHINA. I ordered a wig from them that they CLAIMED was human hair and it looked like it was made out of a horse's mane. A matted, dirty, flea infested horse's mane. It took almost TWO months for me to receive the wig and once I received it I tried to call them to let them know it was the wrong color but they do not even list a phone # on their site. Why? Because they KNOW they're going to receive complaints. So I had to email them and the email I received back was from someone who obviously hadn't passed their english class. The wig was $215 & I told them I just wanted a refund because not only was the color wrong, the wig was of such poor quality it wouldn't look good in ANY color. I explained this to them & they said they would give me a credit for a different wig, but would not issue a refund. I sent the wig back & still no credit to my credit card. It's been a year now. This company should not be in business. Another thing I noticed, is they take pictures from OTHER online wig companies & use them on their site. They also use pics of celebrities. This company is a JOKE! They are PHONY & they will all ROT IN HELL !!!
I ORDERED FROM THE ONLINE A LACE HUMAN HAIR SHORT WIG LAST MARCH 6 2015. AFTER 2 WEEKS OF NO WORD FROM THE MERCHANT, I SENT THEM E-MAIL AND RESPONDED AFTER THREE DAYS AND SAID THAT THEY JUST STARTED PROCESSING FROM CHINA AND WILL NOTIFY ME AND WILL GIVE ME A TRACKING NUMBER. I WENT ON VACATION FOR ONE WEEK STARTING MARCH 23 AND CAME BACK MARCH 27 AND A WEEK AFTER, I RECEIVED THE MERCHANDISE AND TO MY SURPRISE IT WAS THE WRONG WIG. I TOOK PICTURE OF THE WIG I RECEIVED AND THE PICTURE OF THE ONE THAT I ORDERED AND THEY AGREE THAT I WAS SENT A TOTALLY DIFFERENT WIG ( IT WAS LIGHT BROWN, THE CUT IS AT THE MIDDLE AND THE WIG IS LAYERED CUT ALMOST SHOULDER LENGHT). THE WIG THAT I ORDERED IS SHORT, SHORT, DARK BROWN AND THE CUT IS ON THE RIGHT GOING TO THE LEFT. ITS THE RAQUEL WELCH SHORT WIGS THAT COST $269 BUT DISCOUNTED FOR FIRST TIME CUSTOMER AND WENT DOWN TO $249. I WAS TOLD THAT IF I WILL RETURN THE WIG, I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE RETURN PLUS THE INSURANCE IN CASE IT GOT LOST AND THE CUSTOM FEE OR TAXES BASE ON THE AMOUNT OF THE MERCHANDISE. THIS PLACE IS IN BEIJING CHINA AND THE CUSTOM IS REALLY VERY STRICT. IF THIS IS NOT FOOD OR MEDICINE THEY WILL CHARGE YOU ARMS AND LEGS. THE NEXT OPTION IS THEY WANT ME TO KEEP THE WIG AND THEY WILL REFUND ME THE $80.00. I AM A DISABLED SENIOR CITIZEN AND JUST DEPENDING ON MY SMALL AMOUNT OF SOCIAL SECURITY RETIREMENT AND THAT AMOUNT THAT I WAS RIPOFF IS PORTION OF MY MEANS OF LIVING. IT IS NOT MY FAULT AND THEY ADMITTED I WAS SENT THE WRONG WIG AND I AM NOT ASKING FOR REFUND JUST AN EXCHANGE TO THE CORRECT ONE BUT YET I WAS RIPOFF AND SAID THAT THIS IS THEIR COMPANY POLICY AND REQUIREMENTS. I CAN TELL THAT THIS IS THE WAY HOW THEY MAKE MONEY BY RIPPING OFF THEIR CUSTOMERS.
FAIRYWIGS AT THE ONLINE DOESN'T HAVE AN ADDRESS OR PHONE NUMBER. YOU CAN ONLY COMMUNICATE THRU E-MAIL AND THE INTERNATIONAL PHONE NUMBER IN BEIJING WHICH WILL COST YOU A FORTUNE. I DECIDED TO REFUND THE $80 DOLLARS AND JUST DONATE THE WRONG WIG. FAIRYWIGS IS A TOTALLY RIPOFF COMPANY AND A SCAM. I JUST HOPE THAT THOSE CANCER PATIENT AND SENIORS ORDERING WILL SEE THIS BAD EXPERIENCE I HAD TO AVOID THIS CONMPANY.
