They posted a designer gown by Elie Saab. low cut back really pretty. I was expecting a similar representation for the price. Well this was way off the mark. They put lace all over the dress and the original contains no lace at all. The back is gapping, the zipper is crooked with no top hook, there are sequins everywhere, when there are not any on the original. the fabric is not lying flat, there are patches on the front which they added for no reason. If they took all this time to make it wrong, they could have made it right. It is a gross mis-representation of what consumers are expecting. We know it isn't the original, but you should expect something within the look and feel of it.
I have emailed the images of the dress on my daugheter, and the resonse i got was that there is not wrong with it. The dress is messed up and we can not afford to get another one before her prom. These kinds of companies should be under better regulation so consumers can get a refund or get better service. phone number don't work, there own chat service does not respond. crazy. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
Please don't order any dresses from this company they are a rip off. Yes the dress might look
beautiful on picture but of course they have to make the pic look good in order to sell. We sent my daughter's measurements in for her a prom dress the dress came folded up in a bag like it was trash.
And it had spots on the dress and the split on the side of her dress liner didn't line up together. Because my daughter prom was around the corner I could not send it back all the way cross the country and have it back for her last year of high school prom. The clamp on the back of the dress was to big. So I sent them the pics as they asked for. I also told them that we had to take it to a alterations shop which we had about 4 days to get it fixes right.
I told Fairyin what we has to do and they said to send a copy of the pics and the receipt and they apologize and said that they were so sorry. And to send a copy of bill. We'll I did everything that they asked for. Now they are not trying to pay me for what I had to pay for alterations. I have all of the emails saying that they will pay us what we pay to have it fixed. We'll this has been going on since May and they will not respond to me. So I did email them to let them know that my attorney will be contacting them and I was trying not to go this route. I was trying to do it the easy way but seems like they think this is a joke. This was suppose to be a special day for our daughter.
I ordered a formal dress from FairyIn.com, which is apparently located in Hong Kong. Their stated return policy said I could return the dress for a refund or a new dress if there was any defect in the dress. The policy gives you 7 days from receipt. I received the dress and it was defective. The back of the dress is bunched up and irreparable and unwearable.
I sent an email to the company on the same day the dress arrived along with a picture of the problem. I received a response asking me to get the dress fixed. I explained due to the beading and problem it was irreparable. I asked for a refund or a new dress, and where I should return the dress. I received a response stating they would refund me about 5% which was about $6.
I explained again that was unacceptable and they offered me an 8% refund. I again responded quoting their own return policy and asking them to comply with their policy. They stopped responding completely and have ignored now no fewer than three more requests from me.
Do NOT order anything from this company. The product is junk and they refuse to comply with their own expressly stated return policy.
