I ordered a GPS Garmin Nuvi 3590LMT-R from Factory Outlet via telephone (800)7211373. The man took my order, took down my information, and said my GPS would come within approximately 3-5 business days. The GPS arrived. I unrapped the GPS and looked on the backside to see if they (Factory Outlet) had sent the right GPS. The model number of GPS device read, Garmin Nuvi 3590LM. It was the wrong model number. I had ordered a Garmin Nuvi 3590 LMT-R.
I plugged the GPS into my computer to register my device. I looked at the screen, and I could plainly see the screen was cracked on the inside of the screen. The face was not cracked on the outside of the screen. It was nice and smooth. The screen was cracked on the inside of the glass. I called them to let them know they sent wrong model GPS, and that the glass was damaged on the inside of the glass. The first person I talked to told me, "Oh no. You send to Garmin. We don't take them back." So I calmly I went to Walmart, and asked them what had just transpired with Factory Outlet, concerning the GPS. The gentlman said that I needed to send the damaged, wrong model GPS, and they (Factory Outket) should send me the right model GPS. I sent the GPS that they sent to me via USPS. I'm still waiting for a response.
Ordered 2 Samsung refrigerator water filters no. 29-00003B for $49.90 by phone (after the associate affirmed THREE TIMES that it were indeed these filters), received email confirming this exact filter, but then received 2 filters # WF289. These filters do not fit my refrigerator, they are too long and will not lock. Had to email customer service twice and call to receive return/exchange form. Returned wrong filters (I paid for the shipping!!!) for exchange (added exchange form which was emailed to me, inside the package AND outside in pouch). Filters were delivered on 6/25/14. On 6/27/14, I received a refund of $30.41 instead of $49.90. That means, this company just stole $19.49 from me! Called twice and was asked if I had added the exchange form. Yes, I sent the exchange form. I was then assured that new filters would be sent out the next day and that this was only an error. The $30.42 would be drafted from my account, new filters would be shipped. But alas, no filters arrived, $30.42 are still in my account. Last time, I called on 7/12 and spoke to "Vincent". I was told again that I would receive an email in between 24 hours and that new filters would be shipped out the next business day (Monday, 7/14). Today is 7/16 and I have not received an email showing either explanation or shipment or tracking number. And I bet you, the filters have not shipped yet again! I will contact my credit card company now and also file theft report with the police. If this company thinks that they get away with this, think again. I have the email confirmation, photos of the filters, the exchange form I filled out, the tracking number and my bank statement. $19.49 might not mean a lot of money but according to Ripoffreport.com and other review sites, it seems to be standard practice of this company to cheat people out of their money.
I ordered this phone Dec. 27 2013 it gauranteed delivery Dec. 30 2013. I called Dec. 31 2013 because it never came and no conformation information; after I called the customer rep I spoke with and stated this to her she then sent me conformation & stated "UPS was not delivering Dec. 31 and I would get my phone Jan 3 2014. No show of the phone Jan 3 2014; called again this time was told phone was on "back order" I checked web site & it still says "in stock" was told I will get the phone Jan 10 2014. When I got the phone it came with an international charger; called again ( each call takes a minimum of 20 minutes to get through )and was told they weren't sure if they could send me the correct charger and would call me back within 24 hours; no call on this. This time I called to speak with a supervisor & she sent me an adapter for the charger. I Chargered the phone and though it turned on it did not work giving or recieving calls for about an hour. When we were able to make a call you didn't hear anything (voices). Had to stand by back door of house (it's freezing here in NY) to make a call; volume is extreemly low. Outside of house same problems not being able to make calls. When a call went through it was for about 2 minutes and we lost signal. I called company again and said I wanted a return merchandise number/lable to send the phone back and want my money back. Websit states "Money back guaranteed" and "No hassle returns" The girl I spoke with said no; I'd have to make an exchange; I said NO I want my money back like it says on your web site and never want to do business this this company ever again; thats when she said a supervisor will call me Wednesday Jan 8 2013 between 8 am and 4 pm; we have your information. To no surprise I did not get a phone call; so today I called the number fron this web site ResellersRating.com where I read numerous complaints from people on being ripped off & decieved about their products. I also read Factoryoutletstores rebuttle to some customers where they are refunding the for there purchase ( including cell phones ). When I said this to Michelle the supervisor for Factoryoutlets.com she got very quiet for a few seconds; than said for me to hold on. When she got back to me she said she would see what she could do for me and if I don't hear back the next day I will get a call on Monday. I am not holding my breath on any call back from her or anyone after what I have been through. The Better Business Beurau has about 400 complaints on this company; and my next letter is going to be to them. I thank you in advance and appreciate any help on this matter.
