In October of 2013, Aron Lewis, owner of Fabtech Online, completed a TV installation in my home. 30 days later, based on the quality of work, I came to an agreement with him to do more work in my home.
This new agreement was for $3,000, of which 50% ($1,500) was to be paid at the signing of the agreement. I paid Mr. Lewis the $1,500, and he stated that he would order the equipment, and call me once it arrives to set up installation. Weeks passed and I had not heard from Mr. Lewis so I called him, and he stated that the equipment was coming from China, and he was requesting a tracking number to check the status for me.
A couple of more weeks passed, and I reached back out to Mr. Lewis who then stated that the equipment was in, but he was backed up with work, and it would be atleast 3 more weeks before I could get installed. I told him that at this point, I'd rather just have my refund, as time as now of the essence.
Mr. Lewis stated that he put a check in the mail, but after 2 weeks of not receiving I called Mr. Lewis to verify sending and status. He stated that he was going through a rough time and asked if I were willing to accept a payment plan. I agreed to the plan and he emailed me a document as proof or repayment.
More time (2 months) passed and there was still not a dime returned or refunded. I called Mr. Lewis and made an arrangement to purchase an IPAD through him, and he would then pay me the balance of $1000 through installments.
As of yet, I have not received a penny from Mr. Lewis. After doing research on various sites and legal boards, I see that I am not the only person to have trouble with Mr. Lewis. I am demanding to be refunded, as it has been 1 year since the original agreement. I have over 100 text, emails, and voicemails saved from where Mr. Lewis has promised to repay.
