First let me say I cannot beleive that this company employs these criminals and let them get away with their fraud. We bought a car from a car lot and FAA was the financer. The term of the contract with 71 total payments. We've had the car for 3 years and have never missed the payment. Well this year we were late on a paymnent. We set up a bill pay on our bank account to send them a payment on November 26th 2014 to be received by them on December 2nd. That date comes and we receive a phone call. We don't worry because they've always gotten the paymnet on the date stated by our bank for the last 3 years so we just figured they have't gotten that days mail. Well the 4th of December our car was repossessed and they are still claiming to have not gotten the check. Jeremy informed us that he flagged to account for the cashier to let him know when a payment is recieved. Mind you that the payment would have gotten the account out of default and the amount that was in default was $91+ $225. So we speak to Jeremy that Wednesday two days after the check should have been there. Thursday we call to see how we could get the car back. We spoke witth Aaron Gunter. Aaron says there is an appeals proccess they have. He also says he sees the insurance coverage has been cancelled on the car, which is a lie. The car has been insured with full coverge since the day of purchase with no lapse. He puts my husband on hold for about 15 minutes. He comes back and says to bring $1,045 and proof of insurance in the next day. We say ok. That sounded to me like the reinstatement was approved.
The next day we call and we get Jeremy. And he acted like the conversation with Aarron never took place. He said the appeal was denied. He totaly denied Aaron said anything about us not having insurance. He said he see's the state database shows continuous coverage. Then he turns around and asked when did coverage begin. They are so full of crap. He basically denied the conversation with Aaron ever took place. He told so many lies and so did his coworker Aaron Gunter. As of Friday December 5th FAA still denied recieving the check.
We callled our bank Friday December 5th and had an investigation started as to the whereabouts of that check. Our bank confirmed that is was mailed November 26th and they should have recieved it no later than December 2nd. Our bank is in the same city as FAA and every other check sent with our banks bill pay has always gotten to them on time, always! Our bank contacted FAA Monday December 8th and thats the day the check wass presented. It cleared the 9th. My husband went to the bank and asked how and when it got there and he was told it was physically brought in on the 8th. Which is very telling. There is no doubt in my mind that the check was sitting in Jeremy's draw that whole time. Jeremy with held our check and Aaron Gunter was undoubtedly his accomplice. Now they have have filed a claim on our insurance for hail damage to the car on Decemeber 3rd which is another lie. No hail storm took place in Oklahoma on December 3rd.
